iBelink is first to market with a big boy X11 miner.  Your free upgrade will come from your chance to ROI by being first to market.  iBelink doesn't owe anyone anything other than to get these out the door and into your hands ASAP so you have a chance to earn some of that money back.

Anyone getting a miner in October will be lucky if they can ROI in a year and I am not sure I would hold my breath on that year figure.

This approach is what was before the customer satisfaction & loyalty was discovered. In today's era only those organization survive who show gratitude to customers instead of 'i don't owe you anything' attitude.

Even a giant like Bitmain started realizing it and decided to give cost savings to its customers and despite of huge customer base they do cooperate with customers in many regards for example sending a low customs declaration to help customers save on customs duty. Where in i was disappointed to find out that iBeLink do not even facilitate request to issue a lower value customs declaration invoice to help customer save on duty which is a trend in China.

Remember, no body control or can control who get how much revenue, its only the attitude towards customer which make them loyal to any organization or not.

Thanks.

Bitmain shipments to my location are for face value of the items and never a discount.  So no break there.  Customer loyalty in the mining community?  This is a Unicorn not often seen here.  Bitmain used to give out coupons toward future purchases, but that pretty much dried up now that they are really the only game in town.

In the mining community you work hard to build relationships.  It would be nice to see more from the manufacturers in this regard, but the reality is that for the most part all the manufacturers are just trying to stay alive in the face of the Bitmain assault.

Investment, R&D, manufacturing equipment, shipping, and customer service all require a lot of money and at the moment Bitmain is sucking most of that out of the market.  If you think iBelink is making out like a bunch of fat cats and owe you something then I would say you should give it some more thought.  Looking for free upgrades when they are just trying to stay alive is fanciful thinking.

Good luck looking for a customer loyalty upgrade.  I would be thankful if I managed to order a first batch miner and getting it soon so that I had a good shot at a early ROI.  Any follow on batches in Oct or later getting a short ROI is a pipe dream.

You didn't get my point, let me explain you

Point # 1

I ordered L3+ from bitmain and its price was $2000 including shipping PSU, so i requested them that when you send out for customs declaration send invoice as $90, they did it and it saved me money on customs. CLARIFICATION: I AM NOT SAYING that bitmain gave me discount of $1910, instead they took the $2000 and the customs invoice was issued worth $90 only. Do you get the point?

I requested same think to iBeLink and they denied......this is rude specially when they don't have any loss in doing so. Because in my country the custom duty on miners is huge.

Point # 2

Regarding your argument that Bitmain is sucking its competition, i agree to some extent and that's why i gave the suggestions to iBeLink that help the customers and in return you will get the miners loyalty. Ask YOURSELF if iBeLink give you free upgrade or lets say upgrade at nominal charges, won't you show them some respect and loyalty?

The miners i talked to, 99% of them said YES.

Point # 3

I am myself big fan of iBeLink, and advocated them all over the forum when bitmain initiated the price war, however remember only those trees survive for long in devastating storms which are flexible and NOT RIGID.

Business is all about strategy, that is what Bitmain is doing and iBeLink needs a good business strategist.

I personally want iBeLink to become biggest manufacturer but again like you said wanting something is separate and different then reality.

Thanks.

To your point 1:
You asked for Bitmain to reduce the declarations for customs and they did it.

- When Bitmain sends stuff to me they always put the full face value for customs.
-- Maybe what you are sharing is a tip that we can all use to get Bitmain to change their practice of sending the equipment at full face value and getting nailed for big customs bills.  This is not standard practice however.

Note: I wasn't implying a discount in price, but a reduction in declared value for customs purposes.

I won't talk to the rest of the points you made other than to say the bottom line is the bottom line.  Any loyalty vanishes with the next wave of hardware, the next price reduction, the next available batch.  Only if you get lucky and time it right can you get premium pricing to possibly recoup your investment here.  iBelink may have dodged a bullet by offering miners early, getting cash flow early, and getting a miner to market first in the big boy X11 miners.  But that is where their luck has just run out with Bitmain attacking this market space.

We all would welcome this new world of consumer products loyalty and working to keep customers in the mining community.  I won't be holding my breath.  Good luck getting your upgrades.  I would just be thankful to be getting my ROI, but hey I am weird like that! LOL  Take your ROI money and put it into a DM22G and you will be all set.   Grin

I would just say that everyone have their own belief, i believe that miners united together can regulate the asic manufacturers, but that's only possible if we miners adopt a same line of action.

I would just say that You have to be able to see what doesn't exist in order to change what in most people mind seems to be impossible.

Thanks dear.

Miners regulating manufacturers would be the equivalent of junkies regulating drug dealers! ROFL

This is why so many people jumped back into the GPU mining is because of the crazy stuff in the ASIC market.  Sadly right now there are just too many people doing this so even GPU's are hard to come by and have become very expensive.

The GPU manufacturers know the insane boom bust cycles in crypto so they are not willing to ramp up production to address what they have known from experience is a boom/bust business.  They have been burned in the past.  Because of this we are likely not to see any major ramp up in GPU production to address this shortfall.

That means hardware scarcity continues until this cycle corrects.  That may be where we are right now is the beginning of a market correction.  Time will tell soon enough.

Ibelink should have recovered a lot of its initial expenses in designing and manufacturing their new chip. Now all they need to do is sell these same chips in their dm22g and upgrade packs, which they are. So especially with the upgrade packs they just need to sell them to existing dm11g owners for cheap , which they can if they want loyal happy customers.

They could even ask for the original modules to be returned and replaced with the new ones that hold more of the same chips to reduce their upgrade costs. This upgrade ability is something no other miner has which is a bonus for ibelink to be competitive. Each of their miners prob has some sort of unique identication , they just have assign a certain number of upgrades to a machine so people dont just buy the upgrades and use them to build their own miner on the  cheap.

How do you think, what would be the price of this miner?
and what is the price of iBeLink DM11G?

Well the exact answer is known by force of nature or iBeLink  Cheesy

If they have good business strategy they would go for $3000 as its October delivery and Bitmain is already sold October batch for $1600 so people may buy for $3000 giving the benefit of extra hashes and lower power consumption.

yes, from business view, if you sell in quantity then you can make up your lose in profit margin. So its not a good practice to force the price when some competitor have better price.

The upgrades will be available well after the new product is sold into the market... if they have any business sense.

The hash rate/difficulty is going to be through the roof.

I wonder what that actually means for x11 coins? Will POW become unfeasible when everyone gives up mining? Roll Eyes
