It's been confirmed multiple times actually, the owner confirmed it on twitter, it was mentioned in an official statement and also it was confirmed on facebook.

But with all the outages, court orders and sueings, it's not going to happen anytime soon probably.

Well by the same logic they'll be adding NMC too. You can do the trick with the API link on all currencies, some quick detective work shows that NMC is also in the running.
