* The Billionaire Token project
Dear cryptoheads, we have a big announcement to make: starting this August, each one of you will have the chance to become a Billionaire, and it really doesn't matter wether you are a swift hand crypto gambler or a patient long term investor. This may sound like one of those annoying pop-ups you were furiously closing back in the day, but we're now in 2017, and even though there are still no flying cars around, Blockchain Technology has radically changed the way we think about money, "internet money" to be more precise.
We're talking about Billionaire Token (XBL), an ETHEREUM ERC-20 token, designed and tailored specifically for the gamblers and the smart investors of this crazy crypto world. Most other coins or tokens have some sort of mining system, but Billionaire Token has the exact opposite: It features a deflationary mechanism that destroys some XBL tokens each week via a decentralized raffle. In addition to this, another Smart Contract - the Burner - that works kind of like a twisted Faucet, rewarding people for burning their own coins, will further increase the deflation. This is what will initially provide intrinsic value to the token and differentiate it from the competition.
Even if you're not the gambling type, we think that long-term investors will see the value of Billionaire Token. The gambling industry is one of the most profitable environments for a business nowadays.
But you can't make it in the gambling industry without having a top-notch product.
So what exactly does Billionaire Token offer that is new and exciting?  "Billionaire Hold'em" will be a piece of open-source software (a game) running on the Ethereum Network. A classic Texas Hold'em Poker game with a twist - users will be using XBL tokens as the in-game currency. Security and trust has always been a problem in the on-line poker scene. All the big poker platforms are centralized and thus susceptible to hacks, and funds being lost or games being rigged - as the centralized entities have control over the randomness of the whole card dealing and so anyone that has access to their servers could manipulate the games. The Billionaire Hold'em poker platform will be decentralized and thus users will not be in danger of their funds being lost or the games being rigged because, no single entity will have control over the outcome of the game. We will be seeding our random number generator via an Ethereum Smart Contract - The seed will become public knowledge once the game is over. Since this seed can be sniffed over the network via a man in the middle attack (and thus people will be able to cheat at the poker game) we will combine this with an internally-generated number, one that will also be made public once the game is over. This will make every Billionaire Hold'em poker match 100% fair and auditable. Q: What are the coin specifications?A: Q: What about the premine ? How will you prove that half will be used for bounties and advertising campaigns?A: Half of the 8.5% XBL tokens, the bounty funds, were initially located at ethereum address 0x23EA016b4EBA78dFC374E99b2F6793f8d2dB3ff1, no funds left there without justification. The whole process was made as transparent and fair as possible. The bounty campaign has now closed as we have succesfully given out all of the rewards. Everything including the lamborghini bounty has been claimed. More information on the Bounty Campaign can be found below. The rest of the premine (4.25%) is property of Billionaire Token team - we believe that having a stake in the project will align our interests with those of the other token holders and will increase the projects' chances of success. Q: Ok this looks great, but why choose an ethereum token? Why not a regular coin with its own blockchain?A: Running the Billionaire Token on the Ethereum network instead of having our own blockchain is better suited for our goals (deploying and running the decentralized raffle is much simpler on a smart contract platform). Also it makes the whole experience a lot more user friendly. Instead of having to download a whole new wallet and the subsequent blockchain, Billionaire Tokens will be usable with any Ethereum Wallet capable of calling functions on smart contracts. Popular wallet choices include MyEtherWallet or MistBillionaire Token roadmap (2017-2018): A coin's value is determined by supply and demand - we think that we have the perfect plan solve both of the following issues, that will in turn have the effect of increasing the value of each token: 1: Reduce supply - The deflationary mechanism takes care of this, depending on how much usage the Raffle and Burner and other games (that will also be burning coins) get, the already-low supply of ~3 million will permanently be reducing. 2: Increase demand - Apart from the benefits of the speculative aspects of owning Billionaire Token, people will be able to do super fun stuff with it - play the weekly "Become a Billionaire" raffle and the "Billionaire Hold'em" poker game. And then they can always burn their own coins. Shortly after the Token Sale, the " Become a Billionaire" decentralized raffle Smart Contracts are scheduled to be deployed on the Ethereum Network. The code will pass through a series of peer-reviews and security audits before being deployed. All information will be made public knowledge - we seek to be as transparent as possible. -

Exchanges
We believe that after the ICO, people always need another way of safely acquiring any coin or token, and as such we will personally pay the listing fees for the Exchanges.
We are already trading on Cryptopia and have applied to be listed on HitBTC and Coinexchange. After we are succesfully listed on one or both of these exchanges, we will proceed to attempt listing on BitShares and 0x.
After the "Billionaire Hold'em" poker game is released we will be aiming higher, and although exchanges like Bittrex and Poloniex are usually more difficult to get in, we are very optimistic that after we will have a solid foothold in the crypto-gambling industry, such exchanges will be more than happy to welcome us.

Pretty much only one or two people were getting most of the Twitter bounties, seems to be common practice to have tens of twitter accounts with over 2000 followers and just retweet things all day to get bounties. How to burn Billionaire Token
Before burning your XBL, follow the next steps and make sure you added your tokens to MyEtherWallet
1) Login to your MyEtherWallet containing your XBL
2) Click on “Add Custom Token”
3) Enter the following information:
Address: 0x49aec0752e68d0282db544c677f6ba407ba17ed7
Token Symbol: XBL
Decimals: 18
4) Click on Save
After your XBL have been added, we need you to send them to the burning address. The Billionaire Token team will extract the incoming transaction information and send the new XBL tokens to those sending addresses.
Billionaire Tokens Burning Process
Burning tokens or coins is basically sending them to an address that locks them away. The lock is being guaranteed by choosing a receiving address that is extremely unlikely to ever generate. Therefore we chose the following address for burning our Billionaire tokens : 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
(Parity users can also send to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000)
The burning process itself is actually a regular sending of funds. Here are the basic steps you need to do in order to execute the burning:
1) Set the burning address: 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
2) Instead of “ETH” chose “XBL”
3) Leave the Gas limit as default
4) Generate the transaction and send your XBL

Hello, If you read the code for our Token, it would have occured to you that sending to 0x0 addresses is disabled: function transfer(address _to, uint256 _amount) returns (bool success)

Hello guys,
Just a quick update:
People have recently voiced concern over the raffle and the coin-burning mechanism, specifically that the raffle is not rewarding enough and that after the Bounty Campaign finishes (where we reward people for burning their own coins) people will not have as much incentive to perpetuate this deflationary mechanism that is embedded into the core of Billionaire Token.
We love to hear feedback from the community and will constantly be changing in order to make the project more attractive keep the investors happy, and as such we have decided to change the following aspects:
1. The "Become a Billionaire" raffle will be changed to include having three winners.
This will give people more incentive to play the raffle, will make it more rewarding overall, and will help perpetuate the deflationary mechanism.
2. We will implement a Smart Contract that works together with the raffle and will reward people for burning their own coins.
Our goal, after our poker game is released, is to reach 1$ per XBL token. If the maximum supply is not larger than 1 mil, we would only need 1 mil market cap to achieve this.
The feedback has been so far mostly positive and constructive criticism.
RECAP (TL;DR)
Because of this community feedback we have so far decided to change the following aspects of the coin:
- The token distribution model will be made more fair to all participants, while still rewarding early investors as they are the ones taking the biggest risk.
- The raffle will be changed to include three winners instead of just one.
- There will be another Smart Contract created that will work together with the raffle, and will reward people for burning their own coins - just another incentive for the deflationary model to work its magic.

- The Whitepaper is scheduled to be released this week.
- We will have a guide over here at, at the Bounty Thread for Billionaire Token, a guide on how to burn your own coins, so if you have some coins already then you should really look into this because you will receive 25% back. This bounty will be available during the first part of the ICO, so people who invest early can actually make a lot more XBL tokens (provided there is enough in the bounty account).

Are you talking about the Smart Contract that will be implemented or about the current running bounty? The Smart contract we speak about, receives 20% of the money that was raised at the weekly raffle, then users will be able to submit their coins for burning, and are the elligible for a reward from that smart contract. If the "Burner" Smart Contract doesn't have enough funds, it will throw an exception and return the user his tokens. The bounty is just that, a bounty running here on the forum. You have to call the burn() function on the token contract and you will receive the reward - get your coins back and an extra 25%. More information about the deflationary mechanism will be found in our Whitepaper that is scheduled to be released this week. |

This makes it more fair for everyone who wants to burn tokens to be able to participate. It is not a one-time bounty, however. Just make sure to check the burn address first, to make sure there are enough coins in there. The address to check was posted earlier in the OP I believe. Very interesting whitepaper. Is there an end game to the deflationary model? It seems to me that if people can reduce the supply by doing the raffle, and by having a provably fair poker game, as well as being on multiple exchanges, the demand for this token could be quite high. Distribution bonuses are very good for early birds, but also included are nice bonuses for investors who might find out about this project later on in the ICO phase. The decentralized raffle will run continuously? When the poker game is launched, the raffle will still be ongoing? If not, it should be. I received the response from the OP that my translation work is not allowed. I would suggest some changes on your thread especially parts of the thread that would cause confusion to those planning to submit their works in other languages. 1. For rule number 6 please change the word "Any" to something similar to "limited languages only plus Hillbilly" then... 2. Present a list of allowable languages to avoid confusion. One reason I was inspired to create my translation is because Hillbilly translation was added and I don't have a clue that this distinct dialect in the mountain parts of the USA can be used for translation. Where Esperanto with at least 3 million adherent and followers around the world and the most successful artificial language cannot be used when Hillibilly was able to? So I gathered my courage to create one for EO because of the rule "ANY" languages. No regrets anyhow, I have made my translation nevertheless and just leaving one last message to those aspiring bounty hunters wanting to translate because it says "ANY" language is accepted (although that is not correct). Good luck on your coin. |

The number of followers, the look of the twitter account (we don't want to see twitter accounts of people who's only activity is just RETWEETING bounty stuff from bitcointalk ... most of the followers being mindless zombies anyway). Or developers with a lot of communication but really not much work in dev but this gluedog does a lot of work and communicates daily to everyone and is clear and good in what he tells.
