A few exchanges online credited their BTC customers with BCH and they dumped or traded it.

I think you are half right because actually till August 14th if their is no split in the BCash chain then it will be good to run as an altcoin of Bitcoin. If it gets split then all BCash will be vanished from the wallet and next fork will be going on. So right now bcash is acting like an another new altcoin and who ever has BTC in wallet can get free BCash and enjoy the free bitcoins.

Why not transfer your btc first on another wallet on another device before putting your current private keys at risk for BCH? That way you won't have to worry about your bitcoin being gone because of bcc. Its a waste to not claim BCH after all, it is free money from the fork that have happened. For now I agree to OP's claim that bitcoincash is not bitcoin and cash at the same time.

I don't believe in the future of bitcoin cash but there are some trusted and respected members of the forum who believe this is the real bitcoin as it was and is supposed to be. Perhaps they are strong enough to make this coin popular. For now it is surely going down but I guess there are people who plan to mine it and so perhaps the demand will make bitcoin cash at least one of the most powerful altcoins.

This name looks very good and honest we can discuss like "8MBToPump" or "BigeBlockPumping"
"FeedBigBlockers"" : ) stuff like that. This is not cash but is nice seiing that Dahs and Cash wil fight each other.
What will come next no one knows. I belive there will be pump one day but timing is hard to me.
Maybe 2x part of BTC  will be nice pump trigger ?
