If that's gonna happen then surely it will be same as the fake price pumping that occurs with some altcoins. Hold and waiting will help with the profit, but with bitcoin cash the fake pumping will be created to profit the devs rather than the users into it.

True that!~~

Devs pumping, however, will give smaller holders a chance to dump.

Update on Bitcoin Cash

We are glad to inform that all Bitcoin Cash coins have been successfully credited to users' accounts according to Bitcoin balances at the moment of the hard fork. You can view your balance by visiting CEX.IO profile.

...BUT!...

Please also note that deposits and withdrawals for BCH are not enabled yet. These options will be activated a bit later when we are fully confident that it is safe. We kindly ask you not to transfer Bitcoin Cash to BTC wallets.

bcash not ready realese, because block network is not ready
but iam not understand why much exchanger accepted can trade bcash
Media boosting. I think media boost about BCH so exchanger drag to receive the shitcoin. The dev is a bigboy who want to control teh bitcoin users. I think the bitcoin holders aren't stupid with BCC. They keep holding bitcoin. The most exchanger not trading site not received BCC to cash out with fiat. In my country too. However trading site accept BCH just to make profit from new dump coin called BCC. Just see as the same altcoin that is released, I think the next BCC isn't competitor to BTC but the lower pricing coin like eth, ltc and dash.

Then Bitcoin was not Bitcoin until the split that just happened Huh

Lol. BCH is not even a Bitcoin. There is only one Bitcoin with name of Bitcoin! BCH is just a copycat of Bitcoin. They sell this BCH (Bitcoincash) to BTC (Bitcoin) right away once they receive it in some exchangers. A free Bitcoin giveaway.

Definitely not Bitcoin.

Bitcoinish, maybe.    Grin

Still holding at about $300  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

Imagine if BTC launched at $550 like BCH did!

This is a strategy that can indeed provide benefits. But BCH made a new path for bitcoin. Altcoin's competition is so intense. It's just that we should be more sensitive in seeing opportunities

you are looking at it all wrong.
bitcoin cash is actually a very good name, becasue it is doing exactly what it says. it is giving your bitcoin or cash for free based on which one you choose to receive.
and then there is the altcoin nature of it which makes it a good pump an dump target and even more bitcoin or cash profit out of it.

Buying the dip...

LOL. Then you'll just be another alt and you'll never be the ONE. XD

Anyway, about the topic, BCH is not bitcoin because it is an alt-coin trying to sell itself as the bitcoin. Though it failed to materialize and people just dumped the altcoin for more bitcoins. I don't think it will ever replace bitcoins though.

But the fees sending Bitcoin in recently very high, need spend 5-7 dollars for confirm transaction fast. This is high fees with other altcoin on market and Bitcoin Cash. I think if the community use Bitcoin Cash take advantage this reason, they will pump the price of it soon.

Does anybody know what's behind the sudden 100% climb of BCH?  It's crazy the spike today and it's been strong all day so it doesn't appear to be just a pump.  I'm looking for news but can't seem to find any.

Neither do I. I don't know what's going on, but it's really flipping. Price has been jumping up and down in the last hours... Anyone?
