P2Pool admins please share your code. P2Pool is GPLv3.  Wink
Thanks.

edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think if you fork GPL software, you have to make the source code available.

Only if you distribute binaries, and then only to the people you distributed the binaries to.

Those people are then free to distribute the source to whomever they wish, though.

Multipool - Always mine the most profitable coin - Scrypt, X11 or SHA-256!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Well, sorry for my unfounded accusations...  Embarrassed

The network is choked to the breaking point...

Pretty bad when one pool has almost 50% of the hashrate but only gets 10% of the blocks... It's like solo mining, but with pools.

Explain.. I've had no one contact me about nibbles I owe them.  The original pool at minepool.net is being moved and will be up again soon.  Soon after I opened that pool.. I told everyone to change to the pool at nbc.cryptcoins.net and gave them 2 days to do so.  Is this what you are referring to?

LOL at wdc.dontmine.me

It will reopen when the pool/network hash rate (102.44%) drops below 40%

The server is having problems:

Quote
5/20/2013 Update 2:
The increased hashrate has caused me to increase share difficulty again.
I'm working on an alternative solution to this but it would require some more
downtime.

5/20/2013:
Despite having 82 peers and a second node with 229 connected, the server's
worldcoind began operating on a forked blockchain after block 41305. I
caught this early and we're back on the "main" chain by 41670.

5/19/2013:
I had to increase the share difficulty since the pool hash rate is growing.
The block notify times were getting too high with the SQL load from share processin

I would simply split the users across two servers.
