Sadly I think mostly the difficulty increase was from me Sad It's too bad there is no exact way of finding the network hashrate. I threw another 1mh at it today. That could be 15%

Rising difficulty is good. More people hashing away gives the currency more value and legitimacy.

This is what's preventing me. I can't seem to make my linux rig solo-mine bitgem. I'd like to grab a couple, but that pool never worked for me.

The pool is working great!. Bitgems have 520 confirmations for the mined gems to mature. It takes a few days for you to receive payments. If you still have unpaid shares all is well Smiley

I would certainly like a p2p pool. The problem is the 520 confirmations. A lot of people get impatient when they aren't getting payouts. Not saying I blame them they do take days. It would be good to have another pool. With the low hashrate and the large amount of it being at the current pool. I could do nothing but help the network.
