As in the quote none is sure, when this is gonna happen but it has got possibilities of reaching such an price though it seems to be big. The strong proof for such a growth is the large scale adoption that's been continuing without any issues in between. More the adoption more will be the growth in the price of bitcoin.

That's possible but there'll be more years to come.  That's a huge amount for a currency, and that will only be achieved by Bitcoin if it will be legal to most countries and will be used on regular transactions because it will definitely make the market demand of Bitcoin, High and would make it possible for its market value to reach 100k.

I dont think bitcoin price will rech 100k dollars because that price is very big you need more time before they reach that. Brcause for me the highest price of bitcoin is 50k dollars and i think the probability to happen is 50 percent only . The price of bitcoins will keep on increasing in coming years as we will find many more investors who will be willing to invest their money into it but its hard to believe that bitcoin will touch the price of $100k pretty soon as its too high to expect and it also sounds unrealistic value to hold and even if touches the price of $10k most of the investors would be happy to sell their coins at that price.

Bitcoin will most likely get to $100,000 eventually but I think it will be several years. The price won't increase constantly without some corrections along the way. That's wahat is happening right now after the increase over the last year. I hear people say that Bitcoin will reach as much as $500,000 but if so, it will take a long time. Possibly 5 to 10 years to get to $100,000 but it just depends on demand.

OP is wrong. According to the law of linear pull-out-of-ass growth prognosis the following.

2011 the price was $3
2017 the price is $4600

approx. 1533x growth in 6 years
approx. 255x growth per year

Continuing in that fashion next year should be

Roughly (low-ball-estimate) $1M per BTC

Let's get serious: Bitcoin will not double this year. Maybe at the end of next year we will go to $9K but 10K is going to be a major (get out of here) psychological point. It will take months to pass.

Bitcoin growth because of it's speculative market and that's why there are so many people, financial professionals are keep on speculating with large values of bitcoin. Do you remember who speculated bitcoin @ $500,000? It's McAfee and he believes that time will come after 3 years. Maybe we'll find some other speculations that will come and it's on large amount but we don't know on when that will happen.

Strangely enough, I've had similar dreams about bitcoin--then I wake up and we're still at $4400 or whatever.
Bitcoin is probably going to get there eventually, but it'll happen when I own absolutely no bitcoin whatsoever, and I will not have predicted it in a dream--knowing my luck.  And we're still way far away from that right now.  Maybe in 10 years if something better doesn't come along.

Couldn't agree more that everything is possible but if you do use your logic, $100k is just too much for the price of bitcoin unless the scalability issue have been all resolved then it's fine.
I'm myself holding a big amount of bitcoin expecting such event to occur but if the scalability issue hasn't been resolved yet and the price increase that high, bitcoin is actually doomed.
