Without having proper knowledge about the teams or participants we shouldn't place a bet on any sports event. At first I was doing it too but I have stopped it after losing most of those bets. However, you are lucky that Stake is running a promotion on UFC event and your bet has fulfilled the requirements to get the refund. I tried a similar strategy on Dice but it didn't work out well lol. The theory is nice but in practice it doesn't go that way. As Panjul has said, it is all based on luck and I have seen some people winning the 1000x (e.g. Roshtein hit the 1000x to win 1 million not so long ago).

More on luck and if there's significance in doing that, the house might be bankrupt now. It's all about theories and there's no proven outcome unless you are lucky while you tried this strategy.

Such a huge amount of multiplier and if happened you switched bets and luckily hit it out. What a great day for you.

August was awesome in Stake with many promotions especially for the birthday celebration. Now we are in September already, so what will Stakers get this month especially in the next few days? Pre-Monthly would be nice if it can be released asap so players can wager and get more tickets for the $150k raffle on Saturday.
Visited the chat room (local), the discussion is also about pre monthly but it seems that there will be no premonthly bonus this month as being said by chat moderator.

I think it is a bit about the limit on games as well, on one hand you could have a small game that nobody cares about that you can't gamble too much, and on the other hand you have a lot of people who wager a ton on a superbly known premier league game as well. Of course, it is still obvious that sometimes we get blocked, we are not given anything, I couldn't gamble on the finals of the NBA at one point, no idea why that happens but that just happens sometimes.

Yes, the maximum amount you can bet varies with the type of event and the significance. I heard stake announced they were taking millions of dollar bets for an event, that was announced in their telegram channel. Some soccer event, just don't remember whether it was UEFA or what.

I am not sure why you were unable to bet on the NBA finals because they accepted huge bets for the event and you should have contacted support. If it was some error message then most likely odds provider was having a downtime.

You just gotta keep on gambling with the max given to you and it starts to go back up again and again eventually, and then one day it will be blocked low once again and then you will need to gamble and this cycle continues for a very long time. So long story short it is obvious that it is not a great deal, but at the same time I have to say it is stake, they always do these kinds of things and we like them for who they are, even with downs and ups.

The biggest problem is that stake doesn't allow you to see the max bet possible on the match unless you are 2-3 years old and get it enabled manually.

They already have the best odds on UFC as they claim and every time I check, it's true:) No need to go hunting for best odds anymore as they provably have the best, even though it is 0.1 odds more it is still always better;)

I am waiting on a triple winnings promotions or a risk free bet, which will probably happen when Adesanya and/or Ngannou fight. I don't follow UFC so closely but with such a type of promotion it really get interesting to bet on.

I hope that was here but I remember as it was here, or at least I saw that somewhere in bitcointalk I know that much. 160k for one baseball game is insanely high amount, 160k for any one single bet is a huge amount, people must be super crazy rich in order to gamble like this.

Not only they need to have a million dollars or more in cash in order to make this so that it would make sense to gamble this much without hurting their general amount but at the same time even if your entire life savings is 160k, that is still much better than almost every person I know, few online friends who I never met but been talking to online have more networth but all my real life friends can't even do this bet because we don't have 160k to begin with. Big big big HUGE bet.

for sure, this individual can afford to lose that amount of money, that one big bet very few can afford. wonder if stake is requiring kyc for high rollers or still not up until now? i've read in the stake's forum , about having over 100k bankroll. so it seems there are really people who can afford this amount of bet, but more on sportsbetting. and of course, stake has earned the trust of these big bettors.

People always ignore how big 0.1 is but if you take that 10 times it becomes one whole stake. Everything adds up and especially in multileg bets, those 0.1 and 0.2 differences can really make a big difference.

Thank you for the explanation on the "House edge / Return to Player" of these games, but I have a few questions. Does stake award a specific RTP to each individual game in their "Original" games or do they pool the winnings into one pool and then reward the individual RTP for each game?

Also, who configure the RTP for the games provided by the 3rd party Slot providers? Can you have "customized" RTP for specific Slots for different casinos? (Let's say Roobet for instance offer "Fire in the Hole" at 96% RTP and Stake gives 97% for the same Slot)

Pre-Monthly bonus has been given out today. Maybe the moderators don't had any information about it. Otherwise Eddie has given it as a surprise for the demands of players. I get the same amount every month from the pre-monthly bonus so I think pre monthly is fixed amount based on our own rank.
Even if there is difference, it is very small difference due to the current price of the coin we use to claim the bonus.

Pre monthly doesn't depend on the wager amount. It's a fixed bonus which depends on user VIP rank. I'm Platinum rank VIP too, as a result we both received the same amount. Our wager have impact in monthly bonus and weekly bonus only. As a platinum VIP I'm getting same amount from the pre monthly since last few months. I remember, I received around $15 when I was Gold VIP rank.
