Nope, the calculation isn't like that. Each games on stake has their own commission rate. As described on here https://stake.com/affiliate/commission

You can see the commission is different, the highest is 0.14% and special for sports 0.3% (but not all sport games).

If you calculate how many $ must be wagered to earn $1,000,000 from 0.14% commission using this formula on stake,

(Edge as decimal * wagered / 2) * commission rate

When i try to calculate how much $ must be wagered to earn $1,000,000, it needed more than $7billion to be wagered

I doubt the commission rate is enough to cover such a big monthly payment, probably Stake marketing team keeps throwing money to streamers for getting the best RO as much as possible. Now I understand why it is easy to make such insane wins if the streamers paid with bonuses, higher reload, lossback + monthly payment...

What is your VIP level? I did not gamble much on Stake lately, maybe less than $5k wagered amount in the past 30 days and my VIP rank is Platinum 1. Did you get it in reload or one time bonus?

I do not think that it is strictly about the VIP level (I am sure that plays a part but not 100% all of it) because I played with less and ended up with more, so I am guessing there are other things in play. Basically, stake became a bit of a place where things are a bit more "random" if I have to be honest, I have a "friend" (just a guy I chat on telegram few times a week) and he wagered a lot less than me but he wagered A LOT more than me before, so he got more this time around, so it is not strictly about just this month neither, so I am sure VIP level does play a role here as well.

It is basically a bit weird calculation that we don't really know all too well, I have no idea how it is calculated, or maybe it is really purely random who knows? I agree even with the double winnings it's much better to avoid team USA throughout the olympics unless you like betting on one sided odds, earlier they lost their opening game to France and their pre live odds was somewhere around 1.1 even if they keep on losing it's unlikely the odds will adjust.
