Anybody have any idea about how to participate in this 10k poker freeroll at Stake's poker client. You can see it in the main poker lobby but the registration is not started yet and besides that you need a ticket in order to get enrolled.
 


I wonder if it will be related to wager x amount of money in the sponsor's (in case stake is doing this in collaboration) affiliation. It would be cool to play that though, top prizes will be in thousands for sure.

Haha thanks for the info, maybe it's been 2-3 months since I joined a tournament here and today I tried to join again after seeing this information you know I was a bit surprised to see a slightly different concept, so when you are at the table then dealer gives 3 cards to each player and honestly i've never played poker like this because generally I only hold 2 cards. In the game one of the players allin and I joined but somehow I have to throw away one of my cards and unfortunately the card I threw away should have been a pair on the table  By the way I don't know if all tournaments have the same concept or different ones.

I neeed to even learn first before playing to the table, at least understand how those work. My last poker journey is around more than 1-2 years ago, I think in early begining release and once the prize is being turn down into 500$ never joined again.

Big congratulations for getting the bonus, that is a huge sum for most people here and you certainly deserve it after reaching that level. Not many people gamble to reach those levels, that is why there is a reason why it's called VIP and you getting 1280 dollars is a huge deal because of the amount it is for most people.

Let me put it into perspective, that is 1.5 month of salary for me, which goes to show you that Stake could change lives as long as you stay and gamble. When you gamble, there is no "guarantee" that you will lose until you reach VIP, surely because of house edge long term ends up losing but not all the time which means that if you are lucky, you could make money gambling and then this money on top of it as well.

Reload is only depending on your last 7 days, not more and not less. Even at level up to p5 or p6 the host just gives you a new 7 days, doesn't mean it's a high one.  I had weeks with everything from 0.10$/day to 30$/day (took hourly though) so it always depends. Having a high level doesn't necessarily mean you are a big player, it can also mean you are just at the site for a long time, I am a good example for that. I am platinum 6 but far from being a highroller. There have just been weeks or months when there was high wager cause I got lucky, or no wager because I didn't have money to waste and constantly lost.

Basically I wagered a bit more last month after the monthly bonus as I was lucky enough wager more than $75k in a week with the monthly bonus ($100) + 2 deposits worth $50 each.
My current reload is not big ($5) since I wagered smaller since my $75k wager, the first week of this month was much bigger ($15) IIRC.
Anyway, I have lost my $80 and I made a redeposit $50 (lost it too) LOL, I have exchanged the rest to fiat and withdraw it to my bank account to be safer for me  
I was a bit tempted to reach 40% so I can claim the 2nd $1280 because I'm now at 32% but 8% is still 400k wager required so better to keep playing naturally as my 30% was done like in more than a year since I was levelled to to Plat 5 more than a year ago.

Yes, he is really lucky, no one usually gets such a big bonus. The bonus he got is a huge amount. And another thing about him is that he withdrew his money leaving only $80 for gambling. This is really commendable because if he had not withdrawn his money, he could have gone there again and gambled and lost all this money. Good luck does not always come in gambling, so if you get something good, you should withdraw it instead of continuing to gamble with it and later, instead of using it to gamble with big amounts, you should gamble with small amounts of money.

Bonus amount is not lucky, the lucky I was reffering to my post is he having the waggering during the month to claim those.

A big bonus came with a big level. It's was most common things If you want a big bonus then go to higher reward and higher waggering. There is no such things free in casino for sure. It's always came from somethings, not lucks.

He was claiming his rank up reward early, he having Platinum 5 and claiming his rank up reward 20% to Platinum 6. Reaching Platinum 5 was really hard for regular people.

In order to wager 400k you need at least $4000 (average theoretical loss), It is not wise to wager such amount just for leveling up purposes. You have wagered 30% = $1.5 million (correct me if my math is wrong here), it is quite a big amount and hopefully you are not in some deep loss.

Reaching Platinum 5 was really hard for regular people.

It took me around 1 year to reach plat 1 as I am mostly playing poker that too mostly low mid stakes. Wagering that much amount might take many years for me lol. I sincerely hope that Stake will roll out this progressive bonus claim scheme for low ranking VIP accounts as well. You can't even get a dedicated VIP host in platinum 1.

Haha this is what I said previously to @Mahdirakib and you really do it, luckily your deposit was lower than we imagined
It might be better if you wait for the right moment to chase the remaining 8% especially if you already have 75k wager this month
I'm curious whether you collect wagers with normal play or play inhouse with wager mode?
