Once they started making KYC mandatory we have seen several data leaks which they first didn't even acknowledge. How much worse can it be?

I can relate to this. Once they started implementing KYC on all accounts, that’s when I began asking myself why I should even stay, especially when there are still casinos out there that aren’t strict with KYC. I understand they’re a big casino operating in major countries, so compliance is something they can’t avoid.

But once it starts changing the customer experience from good to bad, then it’s also on us to make a decision. Sometimes the right move is simply to leave and accept that the casino isn’t the same anymore.

For the KYC, we have accept it in any case. Even if in another gambling casino they are not so strict in KYC but there are still some probelms there, first they may not be as trusted as Stake or they may not be that old casino. Also those non-KYC casino can also ask for KYC on demand and i know many of my friends have to change casino to casino in order to remain KYC free

More like experience gambling lose in Stake.

Less promotion, wrong promotion and other. With a few mistake they make for the past few weeks is also boosted how the view into Stake right now. IMO, they're in the position reaching a limits. Like limits to bring more revenue cause can't bring any more new customer.

Just see the weekly amount, is stuck at the same range for the past years.

Well the problem/issue for me is not that they are asking for KYC, they have every right to do so and it's up to the player if they want to stay and complete KYC or move on. The problem is that their security is not up to par. We have at least 2 confirmed data leaks where stake got hacked and private information of players got stolen.
Just 2 months ago we have seen another incident where this happened:



So yeah, KYC is one thing but not taking good care of the information they are collection is unacceptable.

I experienced a sudden slowdown on the CS replies on my concerns but they still answer everything once a CS is already available and saw my chat.

Maybe they just received more queries the last time they have an error with bonus promotion email.

Until now they have slow initial response when I ask about a specific bonus question.

I think they are overly relying on AI automated chatbots instead of live human support. This is a common trend nowadays. Every organisation is doing cost cutting on similar fronts. Earlier, I remember that Stake was assigning a dedicated VIP host for much lower platinum ranks (which was taking care of your issues).
Stake is massive and whether we like it or not they will implement AI automation for these things. If you want to talk to a human support waiting time now for my rank (I believe it is much shorter for higher ranks) is at least couple of hours.

Don’t do this again. Yesterday I read in a group chat that someone got banned from Stake poker for going all in multiple times in every freeroll tournament.

I could play more relax but I don't think the rewards are worth it because it will take a lot of time, anyway, good luck to you guys.

You'll need to play for at least 3 hours to compete for first place. Yeah, that's a long time, but if you have some free time and just want to try your luck, those 3 hours can feel like just 1 hour

This is what I started to think inregards to their customer support recently too.
They have a canned response to any questions that I have and just repeat the exact same thing even when it shows a different profile picture and name for their customer service agent.
Was beginning to think this has started with their VIP hosts too but having mine for the past 6-7 months can not say this about my current one. But wouldn't be surprised if it does go this route when I get sent to my next one.

As per my last experience being top vip monthly bonus (December), it is no longer worth to wager few hundreds of thousand dollar in a month because the reward was $120 only.
It used to be between $250-$300 few years back, not really sure if the budget for this top vip monthly bonus is reduced or there is a change on how it works.
Better to hope for VIP ladder bonus which is better IMO, as long as you keep on wagering and make a good progress then you will get it.

Afaik we got pre monthly earlier this month which means that the possibility to get post monthly is low because it is rare to have pre and post monthly in the same month.

I wonder, if someone deposits only $100 and wagers as much as $200,000, how much do you think they will get for monthly bonus?

Last time I tried 3-4 months back for completing my plat 1 wager requirement. I wagered like 20k or so with 80 bucks. I have seen some insane videos on YouTube though where players wagered massive amounts with very less balance but they don’t share how many previous attempts failed lol

To reach that level, you really need some luck. For me, as far as I remember, around $5k is probably the highest I’ve ever reached. Maybe I’m just not that lucky when it comes to gambling, it never really lasts long anyway.

And when you guys talk about wagering here, are we mostly referring to sports betting rather than casino games?

The answer, NO.

I agree with memehunter, you get lucky... If can manage with those number by reaching around 10,000$. You must at least have a stable activity like, during the days is not lose a lots and contanstly stable for the next few days.

We are not rich or having a big bankroll, the only we are needed is lucky situation make our situation stable during gambling.
