I used to gamble a lot on stake.com regularly and used to get big bonuses every month, but the habit of regular gambling turned me into an addict and I lost a lot of money which has shaken my financial situation a lot.

May be you need to take a complete rest from all type of gambling altogether. It is good that you have a sense of your addiction and you admitted it openly which is a good thing and shows that you are not in a delusion.
Just divert your focus and energy to some other stuff, I am sure there is lot of super interesting things to do other than gambling haha.

No, the bonus has no count in profits tabs.

Both of them having a separated tabs. If your PnL negative, your PnL will negative even the bonus can higher than your loses. You can tried by your self, In case you are not believe. Just see "DAY" section and then don't claim any bonus like (Rakeback) etc and see is the PnL daily work just like i explained or not.

Thanks for the confirmation. Yeah, that's what I thought. My profits were not much, compared to the bonus, for the past month at least. It never felt like I was actually cashing out much. While the stats looked really promising. I guess most of my "profits" are usually just the bonus and overall, I'm not losing money but not making much either..

Top 400 finishers will get to play a main $100 buy-in tourney. This is some serious promotion by Stake. Considering the number of players in 25k one, I think it is doable if you play tight and do not encounter some horrific bad beats.

It may take few hours even to finish on the top 400 only, I tried the previous $25k tourney, played like 2hours but there were still more than 700 players remaining.
I was on 24th position after playing about 2hours but I decided to do "always all in" because I was just too tired to continue.

There were more than 8k participants in the 25k tourney, logically the 50k tourney will get more participants especially it is weekend.
If anyone want to win something from this tourney, first thing to have is a long free time

I though is not gonna to count cause is separated tabs section, good thin you confirm with just like i said. Take care the profits bro haha, don't lose those cause we are on good sweets spots on $ with IDR.

From the screenshot, it looks like you were in a good position and could have easily reached the prize. But if you were tired, maybe it would have made more sense to sit out instead of going all-in.
By the way, Stake is really treating us this weekend by scheduling tournaments with huge prize pools. Today there’s a $50k centroll, and tomorrow there’s a $100k one with 400 prize places.

Has anyone on here used the new feature implemented by Stake which puts a ceiling to the amount of money we spend?
I have not used it because my personal gambling budget is already minuscule, but I would assume it is a feature which is used by people who have deeper pockets, people with the capacity to bed thousands of dollars in a single session.

Do you think this new feature will actually help a significant percentage of the gambling population in Stake, or people who are already addicted to gambling will just ignore those options and continue to be irresponsible with their money?

Regardless of your opinion, I am very glad Stake is committed with responsible gambling and keeping their gamblers from becoming addicted and lose money which they are not supposed to deposit.

The $50k tournament had run for around 8 hours, and there were more than 12k unique participants in that tournament. Spending 8 hours to play the poker tournament is crazy. The top rank prizes were worth though. I didn't have time to take part in the $50k poker tournament.

BTW, Stake has bounty rewards on this Poker series. Yesterday I had seen players with bounties two different times. But I wasn't lucky to eliminate them. But today I have won $100 by eliminating a player with the bounty reward. A star mark is usually shown on a player with the bounty (Mystery Bounty Tournaments).

Are you talking about a deposit limit or some sort of stop limit? Perhaps even a time limit. Online casinos have introduced various ways to limit players with their gambling as part of the required Responsible Gambling guidelines. I have seen and heard of different things, but I am not sure what Stake is using.

I don't think it will help. Gambling addicts lack self-control. So they are not going to use it. People who are responsible by nature won't need it either because they are aware of what they are doing and know when they need to stop.

I have always wondered how easy it is to cancel or change those limits we place on our casino accounts. For example, let's say I put a $100 deposit limit, can I just go into the settings and change this to $200 or ask customer support to do it? If that's possible, who are we kidding with these limits?

It is all about making a compulsive gambler do an extra step in order to gamble. It has been proven that easy access without any restriction is lethal for compulsive gamblers.
You are right that it is super easy to change the limits by going through some extra clicks but these will be conscious clicks and can lead to break the unconscious habit.

It looks easy to be on top 100 by looking at my last position only but if you look at the remaining players and if you know the chips difference between players, you will not say that I could have reached one of the prize easily.
Just FYI, my chips was around 150k only while the other players starting from 25th-300th (maybe more) also with chips above 100k so it wont be easy to finish on top 100 with that situation.
About sit-out option, I do hate players who like to do sit out during tournament especially for too long time so I dont want to be sit out player.

Like, you set up limits waggering to 1$ or 1 cent then just make the account can't bet anything. That's mostly are gonna to be used.

I'm also waiting for this one and the good thing is the max players is 10,000 so sure we can get a seat there even though we were a few minutes late to register

Oh man! This is huge. Just checked the Games & Rounds board and found nothing about the poker event in Stake. Is it running internally? I thought it is bitcointalk dedicated promotion like few other casino did (betfury,1win). Can you please share the link to the event page please?

What frustrates me most is that I haven't dedicated enough time to mastering the basics of poker. All my attempts to learn online have failed because I can't practice in real life. I'm not exaggerating when I say that no one in my circle knows how to play poker or tried it at least once in his life.
