After 2 years Very active lending activities, I have outstanding-default(?) loans worth for amount of 40k-50k USD (yeap earning interest is very profitable?)
if you check my lending public list you can find many examples when collateral value has grown several times more initial loan amount (For 10BTC loan I have collateral worth 50Btc!!!
So 50 BTC is not few bucks of altcoins)

What you say is reasonable, but:

1) It's me risking BTC for other altcoin (in which i have no long term faith except for the King)

2) BTC can rise in price too and set the altcoin collateral value obsolete compared to BTC loan

3) There are more, in a dozen times order of magnitude, probabilities that BTC will rise and other altcoin will downfall for a long bear phase. Surely, and personally, I just HOLD BTC longer than some weeks, and I did this since my entry in the market in the far 2012. Just thanks to this strategy I have now a decent bankroll (which is far more than 10 BTC available for my lending activity).

Again I'm here for the long term and I'm in no need to scam anyone, even for 4 zeros amounts.
