I'm trying to use my radeon 6770 for mining after reading that nvidia cards aren't good for mining, but I can't seem to be able to start up guiminer or I get Verification failed, check hardware!.  At first I had it at the latest drivers and I installed opencl sdk 2.8. When I started up guiminer I got Verification failed, check hardware!  When I uninstalled the drivers and sdk 2.8 and installed 11.11 drivers, guiminer would not start up.

edit:
forgot OS
Windows 7 32bit.

Uninstalling doesn't really uninstall everything.  There are a couple threads here on how to really remove everything, and you could also use Atiman Uninstaller v.7.0.2 (google it and you should find a link).

If that fails, a fresh install would work (last resort).
