What are the heaviest bags that you are holding and for how long have you been holding?

I got some really dumb cryptos in my pocket. Most of these are coins that I mined back then I was testing mining software and getting my first mined coins. I got lucky with Dogecoin and sold for 0.5 BTC, that was a steal.

I got MYR, DGB, Catcoin, QRK, Fluttercoin, Fantomcoin, RPC, NET... fuck, I got so many coins, and it's a couple bucks worth. Im just holding and looking for the typical random pump to dump.

Again these coins are just mined, so they are not really dumb investments, if you dont count mining them as dumb..

I did bought MazaCoin back then tho, I was a noob lol. I lost them on Cryptsy anyway.

I've got an old Gridseed miner that I've left on behind the fridge for quite a while now. Connected to https://www.ipominer.com/ pool. They autoswitch a few newer/odder coins and I've got quite  few "bagged".

Same dilemma, not sure what to do with them, VIA, PTL, QTL, INFX, FLO.

One day....one day

If you mean bagholding and having an idea that it might become a losing investment, then mine would be Aeon. I do not now why, but I trust its developer, smooth, who is also a lead developer for Monero.

I know this might be stupid on my part but I still buy more every month. :p

RDD for a minute. It's in a "good buy" position right now, super low. It'll be a moment before it goes back up but in the long run I see this coin hitting over 1,000 (5X it's last high) sat. by 2019 Smiley Yay!

my mined bags are bitcoin and litecoin. I mined burst for a while but sold them on the last pump about mid july.

my invested bags are ripple and Library, both are luckily still worth more than I bought, however im going to hold onto these for a couple of years.

I gave up on DGB and BELA a while back and sold them all.

I've been stocking up on Neo. I think it's hitting $100+ in the next 30-60 days. The future is bright for it and even with holding it in your wallet and generating gas can be a great way to get some extra coinage going. Neo 2018 to 5 cryptomarkets Smiley + BTC $5+ it's gonna be a good year.

i stopped holding altcoins a long time ago when i finally realized that they are not going to have any half decent future and the money loss is big when holding most of them.

now i am only holding bitcoin and litecoin for long term and have some small amounts of a couple of smaller altcoins.
then my most attention is in short term investments when i buy them to sell fast and get the profit before the dump.

Buying the dip...

I only hold Bitcoin at the moment.

Usually my forays into alts have failure as loss of Bitcoin as result, so I stick to BTC most of the times.

But I still have some wagerr and minexcoin because of their bounty program.

I got rid of a lot of mine ages ago for next to nothing, I think I was a bit green when i first started looking at altcoins and i was always too quick to try to sell for FOMO.  the only one I have really kept for a long time is HTMLcoin it is still alive and should be doing something in the next month so the ANN says but apart from that i am more selective about my coins nowadays.

I think the heaviest I currently have would be Ethereum, I got this coin when it was low and it reached around 0.10 a few months back and now it is trying to get back to around 0.088, still waiting for it to reach its new ath.

Not like you , I have not any miners ,  all my coins are bought from exchanges, I often buy cheap coins below the price of $2. Having the hope to give me 10X or more return. My heaviest bag is waves.

That's a good idea. Let me do that also. What does it really mean on this particular question? Well if this mean the heaviest coins I got from my bag, unfortunately I'm still at the lightest weight. But if I save up more coins then probably it will gain more weight. Speaking of holding bitcoins, how long or what is the maximum months to hold it? Because I'm gonna hold it for quite some time and I wanna know what's the difference between trading and holding it. I wanna know their significance.

Ark, Waves and Neo are about equally divided, those are my biggest investments.

Wow. Dogecoin is the only name I can recognise there I have to admit. I also used to have a lot of dumb coins, but collected from faucets. Most of them were for Airdrops and some were just staked into poswallet until they got removed. I don't think any of them gave me any value, even though some were worth 1 satoshi each, it was maybe several thousand satoshi in the end? Complete waste of time and resources for wallets.
