Id like to see if @bumbacoin would like to be part of the dev team. I'll donate 10k croc for the dev fund... 30k croc if bumba comes on board Wow !! that is quite the gesture, why not do a weekly lottery with CROC or even design a random number/user lottery game that happens every 24 hours, 3 days, 5 days and a big one at 7 days ? Obviously you would have to pay to play I can see a lottery game be a thing, but like every 3 week.. this is to give the croc vault time to fill up the dev donation fund is not debatable. It need to be there to help maintain the new site & any big work that may need to be pay I agree, it would almost be like the whole DASH developers fund they have going.

Thank you Hyperjacked. I'm trying my best to improve the wallet myself so we don't have to rely on other busy devs. If he can dedicate himself to us I would greatly appreciate it though. I think the CPU issue is from GetStake() and other stake-related functions. It traverses the blockchain to calculate a bunch of things. Our blockchain grows VERY fast. So it will take time to move through it. There are several options on the command line to adjust memory usage. I encourage everyone to play around. startsts has an interesting case as he runs an exchange. I will have to simulate his setup, or easier, he just has to mess around with a few options. A lottery game is simple to create. Should the house take a certain amount? 1%? 5%?

Should the house take a certain amount? 1%? 5%? https://www.dia.govt.nz/diawebsite.nsf/wpg_URL/Services-Casino-and-Non-Casino-Gaming-Lottery-Game-RulesPercentage returned as prizes (1) Prizes in the lottery must be worth at least 20% of the lottery’s gross potential income. If we assume the lotto have 3 prizes, you cab set it in the following way prize 1 is 40% of potential income. prize 2 is 30% prize 3 is 20% the 10% that is left can be split 70-30, meaning 70% will go to the croc vault for the next lotto and 30% goes for the house now if a prize is not won the 70-30 would not apply... the house would take to hole 10% because a amount greater the 10% have stay in the pot and send to the vault. all this should be mention in the user agreement page of the loto site

I don't like any of those, because they don't represent CrocodileCash at all. I think Gizzard's attempt is good but needs refining. Please look to it for inspiration for futher logo concepts Good job nonetheless. And your lottery post is pretty spot-on. I will use that as the basis for what I make.

One would need the original skech to make a new version or get someone that is good in making illustrations to make a new one. and saying "Please look to it for inspiration for" is easy, but it does not work like that If you like the original logo NP man but what does represent CrocodileCash then? ( other then just a crocodile ) does the logo always have to have a relationship with the name of the coin or the methodologi behind the coin

Are you actually thinking that dev hand drawn it or you are talking about real original image? Original costs money. https://graphicriver.net/item/alligator-mascot/5633360https://graphicriver.net/item/alligator-mascot/6807246Current logo is just a sloppy cut out. Dev must've found a smaller version without the watermark.

We need to take those aspects and create something that emits the same emotions: 1. Strength 2. Self-aware (CrocodileCash - Crocodile on a coin as a logo) 3. Proper palette - green and other desaturated colors. This helps it emit feelings of seriousness. I am just be honest. I do not want to sugar coat anything. I really do appreciate your attempts.

Hi, I actually have been looking more and more at this project and i love the idea. Its so interactive, I was wondering if I could possibly run a campaign to get a bounty or something. I have a good twitter following 5000+ and Id love to spread the idea. Ive tried the faucets but obviously sucks that they are a little slow but can't wait to get more!

Agreed about the development fund but I might offer a small bounty from my personal funds if someone has a large following on Twitter! The exposure couldn't hurt...

Id like to see if @bumbacoin would like to be part of the dev team. I'll donate 10k croc for the dev fund... 30k croc if bumba comes on board I'd probably be willing to at least match these amounts for a developer's/s' fund. I'd ask though: to which specific ends? It would seem most useful to fund additional services that don't fork the coin in any full-on structural overhaul. Essentially, if people would like a given bit of functionality they should offer to pay what it's actually worth to them (as the payment is effectively an exchange to the coder or team that implements a desired service); the results of which may or may not be useful to others but shouldn't IMO unduly impinge on those who wouldn't utilize the additional functionality. To outline something that might facilitate improvements... the daemon has that addmultisigaddress command which (typing help addmultisigaddress) apparently would allow: "addmultisigaddress <nrequired> <'["key","key"]'> [account] Add a nrequired-to-sign multisignature address to the wallet" each key is a CrocodileCash address or hex-encoded public key If [account] is specified, assign address to [account]." So, a payment can apparently be made after signing-off for it by multiple interested parties (although I'm a little fuzzy on the mechanics of how this would work exactly) on a pay-after-completion basis if necessary. the dev donation fund is not debatable. It need to be there to help maintain the new site & any big work that may need to be pay
I agree, it would almost be like the whole DASH developers fund they have going. I also agree. Providing a mechanism to compensate coders that help improve the coin in ways that still maintain broad consensus would seem very desirable. I'd be very likely to donate to help fund a functioning website too (as this was mentioned) although I wouldn't mind adding to my CROC-hoard either -- so perhaps I'd have to do this on an installment plan .

heratys111,
Yeah, I checked before posting that CrocodileCash does support multi-signature.
The way it would work is simple:
Interested parties (a.k.a. directors) control the development funds. When we agree on something, we release funds by signing the transaction.
Pretty simple!
This discussion can happen on a separate thread to remain transparent.
