So now with their extended ICO they revised their white paper for the millionth time. Amongst the changes this paragraph was added regarding the ICO:

"It was expected to [sic] for the single round to run for a variable period no longer than 7 days or until all tokens were issued, whichever happened first. However, considering recent market developments and the acceptance of new countries in the ICO, the process will run until [DATE]."

That's convenient. Fill in the blank for whatever you see fit. First [DATE] was November 9 I suppose. Now [DATE] is November 20. And tomorrow... lies in the stars.

Oh, and the chart that follows right after still shows a total token pool of 1 billion. Common guys, you are collecting millions of dollars, and you cannot even concentrate on getting your lacking white paper right? It cannot be *that* difficult, and it's not just about writing pompous press releases, especially if you're planning to pioneer the world of cryptocoins in the future.  

I'm with you. It's good to notice and publicize especially in a climate where so very little criticism is given. On the other hand have faith brother. Cut them some slag.

Yes the new communication from the team is reallly nice, especially the vested point, private investors will have token locked for 1 years. The circulating supply will be reduced during 12 mounth, it’s really nice.

I hope so this will encourage more people to invest into this project the team has nice reputation and the marketing campaign is also very effective. I hope within new duration the team will get succeed to achieve the maximum cap.

As someone who is VERY new to Crypto I have to say I have mixed emotions regarding this decision from UTRUST but surely they do have a VERY easy solution for the people that are complaining - why not simply offer the money back to the investors who invested on the basis of the original terms and now are not happy with the new ones

I invested the full $10K to take advantage of the bonus purely because I thought it was an excellent product that solved a big problem - however they choose to raise the money from my point of view doesn't detract from this - put simply I still love the idea.

However - in NO other financial arena could a company behave in this way - you couldn't raise money on the basis that you were selling x amount of shares then towards the end say actually it is now for more or less ??

I am in it for ( hopefully !!! ) the long term and as I say how they raise the money really makes no difference to me but I do have a lot of sympathy for those investors who are not happy - just offer them the choice of their money back UTRUST which I am sure would only go to add more credibility to both you as a company and the project itself

Prolongation of the term of sale is possible and a good solution. Burning half of all the tokens is good. But despite this, the change in the rules in the sales process leaves an indefinite impression. I do not like when the rules are changed under the influence of external circumstances (canceling the fork). If there is a plan, it needs to be followed, otherwise there arises a precedent of uncertainty in the future.

Because they thought all UTRUST tokens would be sold out within a week. That's why they choose to extend the ICO time to 2 weeks later, although i'm agree if they should make announcement earlier than now.

Really complicated to say at this moment, I do not like such an extension, but despite launching a less positive image about the project, I believe for the potential, work and support made so far, Utrust holds its potential, and for him I'll be waiting. Surprise us with good news as you have done

its a popular token, and the product will come in 1 year, so if it takes too much time to get on excahnges, it will be trading on ED, and will eb easily manipulated, so whales will get it below ICO price to fill their bags, so it won't be that deep, considering the BTC drama is over.

Just out of interest, if you are "in it for ( hopefully !!! ) the long term". What does that "hopefully" include? If you really are new and investing 10k to ico... You should prepare yourself for anything. I would recommend investing less in a first try but you already did so good luck.

I appreciate your view regarding the investment but I was prepared to invest that amount as I believed in the project.

For me - the obvious course of action would be to offer the opportunity for investors to get their money back who invested on the old terms who are not happy - am amazed that nobody else feels the same way in all honesty
