Verification in bittrex or other exchange for your own safety ,i did basic verification which took only seconds after providing first \last name and address then verify your mobile phone through sms which allow to withdraw up to 3 btc a day . enhanced verification will take some times after upload docs .

Thanks for the response. I have now solved the problem and most the post here are right. It's part of their new rules about new accounts.

First I wait 24 hours since it was stated on the error but still after 24 hours nothing happened and still the error are popping up. What I did is to answred up the basic verification and verified my mobile number and after all approval which only takes less than a minute, I can now do withdrawals. This is mandatory since new accounts can't withdraw now but they can deposit. Smiley

So, if I understand correctly, you were not verified through public records (because they required your mobile phone). That means you provided 1) name, 2) address, 3) birth date and 4) mobile phone and you can now withdraw up to 3BTC per day?

Any idea if a Google voice phone number will work for this?

Ok so I created the account on March 2016 and hence I've never faced this issue. It's weird that they are letting a user withdraw just 0.025 BTC with the fee still renaming the same while other exchanges have no such restrictions such as liqui. I never knew about that article as well. To verify an account with an exchange when you can't even use it for bank withdrawals is highly risky. I have verified my accounts with PayPal and Payza earlier as they allow bank withdrawals. What's the point of bittrex asking this?
After lots of withdrawal issues in polo many traders might have migrated towards bittrex and they are also registered trading platform so they are now implementing strict KYC policy to not get into any legal problem later on due to insane number of new migrated users in their platform.

It is kinda weird but as a regulated and centralized exchange platform they don't have any choice. This is why we need decentralized trading platform as soon as possible. 

As it has been said these changes were set up due to their lack of security previously, as you can read on their website

Even if they are doing this for security reasons, what if the account gets hacked and like it happened earlier with other users, the hacker dumps the users coins by trading it and then withdraws via his own account? This is an exchange unlike PayPal where you can't trade your money but will need to withdraw or send it. Verifying only helps against anyone who tries to change your password or email to withdraw your coins.

This is very doubtful. Look at the chain of events: BTC-E gets seized. Polo changes terms (changes clauses regarding rights to sue them in case of loss). Bitfinex withdraws from the US market. Bittrex changes its verification tiers--unverified accounts reduced to 0.025 BTC per day and then to zero.

Exchanges are doing CYA. Damage control. This has nothing to do with security.

Recenetly I created a Bittrex exchange account and began doing trading there.

Now that I want to do withdrawals, I have prompt saying that I need to wait 24 hours due to limits and asking me to verified. Is this how Bittrex works? In other exchanges there is a thing called Level 1 stage where people can withdraw even they are not verified as long as not reaching the limit.

The amount involved is only around $40 so I don't get it why they have restriction for that kind of amount. Thanks for those who will respond.
I've personally never done level verification since first creating bittrex account up until now and all goes well, but for the past few weeks I still have not tried to withdraw on bittrex, hopefully I do not accept the same problem as you.

As far as I know if we change the password, we will not be able to trading and withdrawal on bittrex for up to 24 hours.

Whether you changed your password before?

They have some pretty high security issues. But on the Lighter Side most of the things they ask you to do a really easy to take care of. Just make sure that the name that you used on your account matches the verification identification details that you put in there with them.

Yes for Basic Verifications. Documents only required on Enhanced Verification but it needs the same as the information on Basic. If in any cases, you just did some joke information there then just create new account. Only needs different mobile number.

For withdrawals in Bittrex, you receive an email, each time, with a link to click to confirm your withdrawal, otherwise, you can't do anything.
So in case your account is compromised, the person can't withdraw to his/her own wallet address. So the only thing he/her can do is making fun with your coins by selling/buying

So to verify and provide a mobile phone, they send you a SMS code for you to enter into their site. Once that's done, do they still require your mobile phone for the 2FA when you withdraw your 3BTC per day? Or the 2FA is done through something like Google Authenticator?

No you don't need 2FA when withdrawing if ever you already passed their Basic Verification. It's just an option to be verified as Basic. After passing that, then withdrawals will now be smooth as long as there will be no problem on the way.

And yes 2FA is done by Google Authenticator as always.

After failing at Basic verification. Bittrex ask me must to fill ENHANCED VERIFICATION.
I upload and upload. But now they said:
There was an error processing your documents
Please reload the page and submit your documents again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tips for successful verification:
Take a fresh selfie, ensure nothing is blocking a full view of your face
Do not use the same image from your identification documents
Do not use a professional profile picture
Do not manipulate the image of your identification in anyway. This includes adding watermarks or blacking out certain information
Do not crop the image of your ID such that any portion of the ID is removed including edges


So, I reload. But nothing happened. There is no button to upload my docs again.

Same here. Can enter my account but the system doesn’t give you the option to upload your documents again.

Same issue here.

trying to be compliant.

But now they have locked up my coins AND don't give me an opportunity to comply.

Nowhere to resubmit the pics for 3 days now.

Has anyone tried to open a support ticket with Bittrex? This issue seems to be growing. I'm also in the same boat. Perhaps they are backed up with Enhanced Verification submissions.? I've had my account since June so I'm still able to withdrawal .025 BTC every 24 hours but this is concerning.

Have open a ticket and included the selfie, ID back and front pic it is pending since 1 day. Also confirmed from my side that I have followed their requests as described and asked them to verify manually my request. Many people have this issue and hope it’s only a bug in their system and will be sorted out soon. At least I can still access the account where as other people their account has been blocked or disabled.

For sure many tickets have been raised worldwide and it takes time to reply all the support emails.

Here their auto reply:

We've escalated your ticket to our Support Team. Here are some Enhanced Verification troubleshooting tips. We will be with you as soon as possible to help resolve your request.

The number one reason for an enhanced verification to not be processed through the system is the submission of a Selfie that is the same photo that is used on your uploaded identification. If you did not take a new selfie or use a photo different then your identification, please try the process again with a new selfie.

Please make sure you are selecting the proper document type and following the instructions of what photos to upload and when. If you are uploading a document like a passport, including the entire passport do not crop it. The system must see the entire passport. The instructions typically will say to take a picture of the front or back of your ID. For passports, you would take a picture of the section that has your face and information. Then you would take a separate picture of the top part of your passport when it asks.

Lastly, if you have manipulated your document in anyway the verification may fail. Please make sure to submit very clear photos without any alterations.

If you have tried all of the above please let us know and we will manually review your submission.

Once you have been verified please make sure to enable two-factor from your settings to increase your limits to the 100 BTC max.

Perhaps the compliance reviews caused a glitch with users simply trying to establish the enhanced account option. Perhaps opening a ticket will push the process through. Are you able to respond to the open ticket? "If you have tried all of the above please let us know and we will manually review your submission."
