The developers could suggest features and prices and ask the community for funds with respect to every single milestone. Maybe that works. Or as you are now going to do with the mining reward. The devs need to be funded somehow.

You know - EVERY dev says the same. But i've got sick of all those VIVODSRONYXINNOVA....XXXXX shit. The only goal of their existence is pumpung the price by making illisionary picture of bright future, promising gold mountains thus pumping the price - and meanwhile selling their premine. 99% of devs try to hide premine or simply lie about it's purposes. I don't want this to happen with ZOIN. That's why some % of mined coins is fair and really help the development - because devs are interested in that. |

Donation system never works. In terms of collecting needed funds. Only exception is collection to cure the exact child, may be. |

I think you don't know very well ZOIN (history, team and governance system) and you don't come often on the SLACK otherwise you would not say that. but I already mentioned that you can vote NO and that it's your right that I respect but it is necessary to stop to pollute the thread. So the community should at least support that part of the miners reward goes towards development purposes. Seriously nobody can expect the devs to work for zero, even though that's somehow the name of the coin!  |

The voting has ended! Thank u all for participating in the 3 polls! These are the results that will be included in the wallet release/fork/network update of tomorrow:
1. Hard cap of 21MIL (no tail emission)
2. Block reward to 12 ZOI & halving to 210k blocks
3. Until block 235k a total of 950k ZOI will be allocated to the development fund. This will not affect the 12 ZOI block reward for the miners.
Thank you all for your participation and also your messages and debates on the SLACK , it's important to exchange.
The 3 votes will be able to favor the development, hard cap will have a positive effect on the price and for the future investors.
It was also necessary to slow down the emission , with the new rewards we can project ourselves over several years
The team will have a real budget, it will be managed in a transparent way but especially a real additional motivation for the TEAM.
but this is just a step, after the release the team will make new decisions about the organization and priorities.

New to the coin, looked around a bit and the dev team seems great. I was curious though if there has been any talk of implementing any kind of atomic swapping. It just seems like that has become/is becoming a staple for a lot of coins and I didn't see anything official about it on the website. Can someone take a second to clarify if this has come up or will be considered. Thanks!
Also, glad the community supported funding the dev team, considering all the team has done to be transparent and to create a community coin.

Note to Mac users: ONLY 10.12 macOS is compatible. Note to Windows users: scaling higher than 100% will cause font distortion - this will be looked into after release. Note to Linux users: the GUI build seems to only work with ubuntu, but we have build instruction in the repo if you want to build for any other distro.
