We can only predict how will bitcoin work and how much its price is till then. I think you can't really do an all in in bitcoin because it is a volatile coin, but surely you can invest in whatever you want to risk  to lose.

It's very possible that bitcoin will see 40,000$ one day but I don't know if it will happen in the time frame you predicted. Don't get me wrong bitcoin has proven me wrong time in time again. I don't know if we're going to see Bitcoin reaching $40,000 within the next few years, but it definitely has the chance to explode upwards as more people get involved, especially if there is more demand on par to what we're seeing in Japan right now. If that can happen, then $10,000 by the end of next year would not be impossible, but $40,000 would be stretching it. It takes more money to push it higher up, and there isn't always that kind of money interested in investing.

I believe bitcoin is possible to go that high. BTC price is unpredictable and it is volatile, so it's hard to speculate until when and how high will to up. For me bitcoin is the best investment. Foreseeing what will be Bitcoin's price is a very speculative game for us since the beginning. But one thing is for sure, its price is gradually increasing every year and I have no doubt that it will reach $40,000 some day. We just don't know what would be the time frame for it to reach that price. Always expect corrections here and there and try to buy the dips if you have any extra money. I think your predicion may be too high or the time frame you gave. $20000 is way to big or 2 years because as for today bitcoins value is playing up and down from $3800 to $4000 but majority expects bitcoin to go about $5000 by the end of the year and maybe $6000 next year.

Bottom line we can't really say what will happen in the future. Maybe in an hour bitcoin's value goes deep down or fly up, so investing it now will not guarantee us that it will be expensive in the future. It can be a treasure but it can also turn into waste.

John McAfee even predicted a million per pop so I don't know if that can be touch or if bitcoin can get closer to it. But what thing bitcoin proves to us many speculators is that, it really difficult to see the price of it in the future. $40,000 isn't going to be happening in 1-2 years. Let's be realistic here.

As much as i believe in bitcoin in the long term, and how it's going to rise and rise and rise, this is just not possible or should i say very probable at all. $10,000 has a very slim chance of happening, i'll give you that, but $40k is just not gunna happen.

Though if you gave bitcoin a bit more time, it'll prove itself. $40k is small in the long term. In fact in the long term we don't even need to measure bitcoin in terms of fiat. 1 bitcoin is worth exactly 1 bitcoin because fiat is intrinsically valueless.

You would be surprised how likely it could be that we would see ridiculous prices like the 40000$ price. If bitcoin were to get a mere 5% of the total amount of money that people have invested in gold bitcoin could be valued at $25000. And that's only 5%!
