I think there are two issues you need to think about when investing:
1, Bitcoin money power
2, Altcoin coin thrive this year
I am not a good trader but in my opinion you should invest in altcoin and specifically litecoin and NEO.

I also know about 2 coin, but it looks like it is pump, you sure it is a good plan

This might be a good advice but it also might be a bad one... Can anyone guarantee all the top 10 will keep on growing? I strongly doubt that!

I believe some of the current top 10 are super hyped and might collapse at any instant. On the top 10 I would only bet on BTC, ETH and LTC.

A better advice might be to buy a good top 200 coin, with a solid reputation and a clear future strategy. There are a few on fit in this description but my money is on Diamond Coin. Just check it out.

I'm sure there are 100's of suggestions regarding a good and solid coin to purchase over the last few weeks, months and year. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the top 20 by market cap.

If your looking for short term gains, you can filter on coinmarketcap by hour, 24 hours or 7 days. Looking at 24 hour by % gains, then look at a crypto with high trading volume. This will give you an idea of what is currently moving.

Many of those are relatively new cryptos and if you look at the exchange that has the most volume, it may be one that you do not have an account on, at least not yet...  =)

I find your comment very helpful for newbies like me. I can only trust BTC and ETH in this case. Some people expect $2.000 from ETH within 3 months and I agree with this.

I think the best coin to invest today are the coins that are on the top of the list of market cap. It most simple and good investment. You need also to analyze the historical data of the coins that you are eyeing.

I rather choose Bitcoin as my number one coin today. Even if how many times it fall but still it gets the leading coin in the trading sites. Everywhere I surf in the internet I still catch a glimpse of the B symbol with has the similar  design of a US dollar bill.  Everyone caught attention because some sort of websites promotes the Bitcoin, so I think its price are still getting unstable but it seems people don't mindabout it just to have moneys in  their hand.

The best coin to buy is BTCitcoin obviously as it has been proven has gain so much value (more than 300%) within 8 months. Honestly, I don't believe to buy some random coins which many people speculate this is a good coin, that is the best coin that may doubled or triplet your capital within 6 months or less than that. There are some coins which may be proven could achieve that but too many coins cause great loss for traders.
If you want to buy altcoins, make sure to research about it before invest. I believe some coins really has great potential to reach over $500 like https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/byteball/, just check its history and it should be repeated again.

Well, in hindsight, I think bitcoin is still the best due to the many characteristics that says so. Even if it is actually falling in value, it still holds the best price point and marketability amongst all of the coins in the market. Therefore, the chances of it catching fire and gaining value at any moment is still higher and more foreseeable compared to other coins. However, I would also like to add altcoins like Eth, Waves, LTC and Ripple on the list because they have been in the block and has been creating a lot of good noise to sport an increase value in the next following months.
