Trolls spread lies, deceive and cause damage, and they enjoy every minute they can make someone else miserable. They use internet anonymity to shed their veneer of decency and show their ugly selves and are often found it online forums like Bitcoin Talk. Trolls are basically cyberbullies on steroids – cowards afraid to show their face but nastier and more dedicated than garden-variety bullies.

What do you think is the best way to deal with trolls?

Take them head on or ignore them???

Ignore them.   They want attention even when it is negative attention, so if you deprive them of this attention they will eventually get bored and seek the negative attention they are so desperately seeking elsewhere.

Be aware of the different troll tactics, and then ignore them.  They feed off getting a rise out of people, don't feed the troll and they will go away.  ...sometimes

You can't take them head on. They are not interested in logical or cordial conversations. They are only here to antagonize. So the way that you deal with them is troll their investments like they do yours. Good luck though, its not easy. It takes a troubled mined to come up with some of the shit they say.

Ignore them, trolls find satisfaction by being noticed so the best thing to do is just pretend they werent there at all.

Trolls do find pleasure with the amount of attention they are given. The best way to deal with trolls is to complete ignore them and show facts if and only if necessary to prove your point. Anyways, don't mind them.

I believe that trolls should be simply ignored, because their main goal is to annoy their victim and then laugh at her. When to ignore the trolls, after a while their interest will be lost.

I agree with what was said above mostly. If a troll is trolling you he may have a reason or may be for attention-seeking purposes.

Ignoring them makes them feel very, very little, with no power.

Ignore Them... Trolls want attention. They want to get you angry, frustrated or uncomfortable. No matter how difficult it might be, simply ignoring a troll could your best tactic because when they don’t get a response, they’ll most likely go away.

This is the correct advice, but sometimes it is very difficult to ignore those who intend to "drink blood" from you. They are trying to get you out of balance and provoke a scandal in many ways. But you must stand firm and calm
