hi stunna,
i decided to use the 3rd downtime this week to write down some feature
wishes for primedice v3. here are my 2 bitcents:
please bear with me, english is not my mother tongue...
- better stability / uptime
a) (feature) redundancy / loadbalancing
there are several ways to make sure that the service keeps up
even in case of a server failure. if you would like, i could
elaborate on that.
b) (feature) monitoring / automation
there are multiple solutions from easy to implement to extremly
professional, from fully automated to manual which could greatly
reduce downtimes. even a simple installation of a tool like lets
say icinga would help a lot.
- transactions
a) (bug) the rounding problem should be fixed which leads to the
problem that often you get the message "amount to high to withdraw"
even when the user entered the exact amount displayed in the balance
field. this leads to confusion and fud and the question is raised
about 5 times a day in chat.
b) (bug) transactions inside primedice should work.
as there is a great community which often does transactions between
primedice users it is bad that all transfers to/from primedice have
to be made from/to a standalone/webwallet outsite pd. it should be
not to hard to fix this.
- usability
a) (feature) the "max" button directly besides the 2x button has lead
to major losses of many users. while of course every user is
responsible for his own actions it would be nice to replace this
button, so that it can not be confused with the "2x" button or
accidentally clicked on.
b) (feature) since there is a "2x" button and many people use 2x payouts it
would be nice to have a "1/2" button also.
c) (feature) keyboard support would be nice and should be not to hard to
implement. most important would be a hotkey for the "roll dice"
button, but while at it more hotkeys could be implemented easily.
d) (feature) statistics. there have been efforts to create stats giving
more info than the ones onsite, but they need scraping the site
remotely which is unnecessary hard on ressources when it could be
simply replaced by some simple select statements and done directly on
the server. see

outdated example. while at it it would be nice (but maybe hard to
implement) to have a way of getting charts of the profit-history.
e) (feature) the faq should be updated to reflect the mostly asked
questions in chat, some of them mentioned above. i already did a quick
writedown on what should be mentioned (in my bad english style and in
no way ready to be used but maybe a good starting point). ask pokerjet
if you dont already know it.
f) (feature) chat-enhancements
there are several ways to optimize the chat experience. i could
elaborate on that if you like. for now the first thing i would do is
replace ugly btc-addresses and transaction-ids (which currently need to
be split into two posts) into small links to better please the eye.
g) (feature) news-page / blog
sometimes there are "hickups" like the faucet not working this week
which leads to the same questions asked in chat literally hundreds of
times a day. there should be some info about current topics which are
easy to find for each user. i.e. it would be possible to show something
like that at login time.
- bugs
a) (bug) bets not showing up
there is a problem that some bets dont show up, but correctly
add/reduce your balance. this is an essential bug, as users expect
the list of bets to be correct and often decide future bets on previous
results. also it raises fud on if the autobet also has issues (although
i dont believe it has)
b) (bug) all bets dont show all bets
c) (bug) high rollers dont update often enough / some rolls dont show up
please let me know if something is unclear or you want me to elaborate on
some aspects mentioned earlier. i had some more ideas but i think the most
important ones are mentioned above.
