@Stunna, perhaps after this ordeal you should look for a new host as suggested before.

It surprises me how naïve people can be. There is no hosting provider in this world that would take this long to fix such a simple issue. This is just primedice showing how incompetent it is, and the easiest way to handle this is, obviously, blaming someone else -- the poor provider which has no voice here.

@Stunna

You really should give a detailed write up of everything that went wrong and when it went wrong when the site is back up. Without that you are letting these accusations take hold.....needless to say that is not good for business and possibly worse over the long-term than the current sites downtime...

Directly from twitter "We are waiting on our new ssl certificate to be sent so we can relaunch. 5-12 hrs", LOL. Here's a hint: ssl certificates are not delivered by boats. I hope your certificate doesn't get lost in its way, such a long trip.

I believe this is a lie! They use cloudflare for ssl and they dont have to wait even a second. It looks like they are probably updating their system now. That means the server is complete, or its not and they are covering up a lie.

We use rapidssl with cloudflare. And just received certificate 2 hours ago. Apparently you don't receieve it instantly or at least we didn't, I'm guessing they have to verify with your domain registrar.  If we weren't ready I'd simply say we weren't ready. When our dev wakes up he should be able to set things up and get us ready to re-launch

When the site is back up I'll explain in detail exactly what went wrong, decided not to say it right away to prevent speculation etc.

We've moved to a new host already.

From their twitter feed that PD current redirects to:

Also stay tuned for a giveaway on bitcointalk and twitter along with a full explanation of what happened.

Last time PD was down Stunna had one hell of an "I'm sorry" waiting for me in my account.  He's done right by users who wanted their coins back and while I would have preferred more explanation up front, he's gotta run his business the way he thinks is best.  There are no shortage of other dice sites if you don't like the way PD operates.  I for one plan on sticking around.

Good Luck!

With Cloudflare you have the option to use a general SSL cert that is shared with other people (not a good idea), or upload your own.

So this part is not a lie.

So are you implying that uploading your certificate is better than the other option ? In other words, do you think one of the options is better than the other ? If you are reading this and don't know this means, just get the point that using SSL this way is pointless since the site has no control over its own certificate. So many experts around..

Seriously if I want any lip out of you, I will rattle my zipper.

Only the certificate file is uploaded, not the key.

You sir, are clearly not one of the experts.... stop trying to act like one. Your idiosy is simply astounding.
