For staking you must:
have 10 days old input
have more then 5760 confirmations
have 2 or more wallet connections

For prevent split into very small chunks, place in unitedscifi.conf file:
splitthreshold=500000000
it is equivalent of 500 coins.

5760 confirmation seems excessive. I have coins old enough and 3 node connections but no minting due to 5000 confirmations.

It made for reducing CPU load, when many transactions in wallet.

Is that what the splitthreshold option is targeting also?

splitthreshold = split threshold for stake. If input less then splitthreshold, output not split into 2 transactions.

Try the extranonce option: #xnsub.

It should work with bfgminer like this:
