President Rodrigo Duterte is just doing his job. All the killings are done by the people and he is not included in those. I think without him, noone will be able to found out a lot of personalities being a drug user. What you are saying is the police's fault and not Duterte's.

For those who are not victims of drug addicts and pretending to be good ones are the hypocrites. Do we have to wait until we will be the victim of those addicts that strikes anywhere. for me as a citizen of the philippine republic , president rodrigo duterte is the best president ever had by the phlippines next to former president ferdinand marcos , our current leader is a good leader , all he does is for the good of the country his war on drugs is one of best thing he did to the country , to reduce the drug rate , but i think even if he finish his term as a president he cannot free philippines from drugs , instead he can only reduce it , to drug related cases , many are dying because of his war on drugs , and many are opposing him because of this case too , but overall mr president rodrigo duterte is a good and honest leader .

Yeah.. I heard about a few incidents like that. It happens as a result of collateral casualties. Out of the 6,000+ people killed so far in the war on drugs, may be 10% or 20% were innocent bystanders who didn't had any connections with the drugs mafia.

I strongly agree to your perspective, President Duterte is very courageous to do such a bold act. He is the only President i have known in my life to have a strict law on prohibiting the use of illegal drugs which is a good thing, since the majority of the filipinos specially the ones experiencing poverty are addicted to drugs which is the cause of all the problems in the society.

Perhaps the reason is that the media is against him. So he is not very fond of the journalists. The same thing is happening with Donald Trump in the United States. He knows that the media guys don't like him. So he treats them with disdain.

I dont think this is the best move because many people die because of this campaign about drugs. We can say that, a best decision will benefit all and maintain the equality of all the citizens. But in this campaign, some innocents die and other people are killing each other just to protect themselves from being tokhang. In this case, there are many mistakes on the decision but i think president duterte is just prioritizing the security and safeness of the majority innocent citizens.

Then, what is the best move or effective way? Can you give one?
Evidently, there war on drugs is bloody and unlawful. Many lives had been taken away, innocent or guilty. But for me this is the best way to fight against drug prevalence in the country. Why it became bothersome? The implementation of the "Oplan Tokhang" and the uneducated and undiscipline policemen of PNP. Maybe its a win-win situation, because our late presidents ignore this problem and now a colossal one, there are lives should be sacrifice for others to live.

We are fighting for drugs to make our country safer, to feel more secure but due to unwanted killings, it gives fear to netizens. Killing criminals doesn't make as good, killers of the criminals are also criminals, doesn't make sense right? We have law, the policemen are there for theaw enforcement not to break the law. "Alleged drug user/dealer/runner is killed." Not yet proven but already killed, where's the justice? There's a due process! There's a justice system! And this war of drugs already dragged into other issues, like killing innocent people! What's happening to our country?! It's frightening!

His campaign against drugs has been seen with a positive outlook during the election, but when he became the president and performing his duty about war on drugs, we can see some side effects of this campaign. Most police with association with drugs are using their power to kill their runners just to maintain their names clean. Another one is some of big time drug lords are killing their connection with drugs before they being investigated. People are trying to be blind sided with these issues. I can say that our president has good intention of stopping the proliferation of drugs on our country but it has not been under controlled since then.

After war on drugs is over won't your country be much better off even with all the innocent people killed.

i think it is one of the best move any president in the philippines did. since no one has the guts to stand up and make change

I agree.  Indeed he is the best president that the Philippines have.  He is the only one who walk his talk.  When he said during his campaign that he really put a war on drugs and it will be bloody, he did it.  It is literally bloody.   But if you are not a drug addict or a murderer or a criminal, then there is nothing to be afraid of.  Even before his term there were many crimes and killings of innocent people.  It is just that in his term, majority of people who were killed were the criminals.

Certainly.  It is called cleaning.  Though, it is really hard to totally eliminate drugs in this country, people should help our government to this campaign.  

We do not know if what you are saying is true that drug traffickers have protectors in the government and police but it is for sure not the president.  Regarding that issue in case it is true, I believe that the officer in charge will do everything to clean that mess.  

Our President will win this wag against drugs.
