Hey guys, I was wondering if I could mine on Linux with my GTX 1060 cards without issues. I've heard about the driver problems with Linux, but I would rather get my answers from the veterans here.
If no, then do I have to buy the Windows 10 or can I just buy Windows 8 which will be cheaper?
Thanks for the help!
If you are new to Linux, you may want to reconsider or at least review a couple of guides on which proprietary Nvidia driver you'd want to install on whatever distro you picked.
You do not *have* to *buy* Windows 10 or 8, you could just install the Windows 10 "trial" and not activate it. (Or use
IR5 for Win 7, but you might have problems expanding beyond 4 GPUs in the future.)
