I think it is not but I am not so sure because who can tell what will happen soon but I just want to share what I already experience with LTC with the past 6 months of it, I invested in LTC way back before it implements the segwit and I did bought some Litecoin and hold it expecting it to rise and eventually it did rise but I hold it too much I think and it suddenly goes down and during that low I sell my coins because I was too scared and then after 1 month which is I guess last 2 months, It went up again. So I am full of regret but I know the consequences.

Sorry to hear that. I also had such situation in my past for some coins. That’s why this time I care more about coins when I am going to invest in them.  I know sometimes we have to hold coins for long term to get higher profit. Since my critical time now, it’s difficult for me to keep long time because I depend on the investment to full fill daily needs. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience.

It's a though game to play, litecoin is a solid bet, less riskier than other shitcoins.

You invest for daily living cost, then it would be very painful. Your mood will go up and down with the price.

I would suggest you to separate your investment into 2 parts, short term and long term. So you will be able to put some coins into long term investment seeking higher profit later on.

Litecoin has been around for ages and surely it didn't fail us yet. I think in a year it will be worth some hundreds of dollars but now it is very unlikely for the price to pump. It has been stable for a long time now. I believe ltc can only be considered long-term, short-term investment is of no use in this case.

not good from a speculators point of view but if you want mass
acceptance commercially you need a degree of stability.

This is spot on, its the reason bitcoin will struggle as a currency at the moment, its too unstable. Who would want to buy something with bitcoin when you think tomorrow you could get the item for half the bitcoin?

The problem with Litecoin and almost any other alt at the moment is that when bitcoin captures the market then almost everyone begins to trade bitcoin in order to get profits and with the hard fork that created bitcoin cash things got even worst since you have now a new coin sucking capital from other markets.

LTC price has been stagnant and I believe the most reliable price in real money. Though newer and better coins might affect its existing price and sad to say it may dump very soon. Just my opinion.

I find it quite difficult,for example simply considering the circulating supply or 62.55 %  about total supply,then for example if  in a year  the price remained the same instead of decreasing it would be advantage,however if the price increases it will not be for long before there is another adjustment.
