With litecoin you need patience, more than I have. Sold at around 50 and it went and pumped to over 90 only to be halted by China fud

I don't know much about this coin but as far as i have observed, litecoin have the chance to go up but as to when is still uncertain. Litecoin is fast and cheap (in terms of transaction costs and times), so it certainly has plenty of utility in respect to real life use. In other words, it is by far more convenient to transact with Litecoin than with Bitcoin. But it is certainly not all there's to it. This coin is sort of backing up Bitcoin in case it should fail. Right now we seem to be far from that (given the current Bitcoin prices) but shit happens and if some shit should happen to Bitcoin, Litecoin will easily replace it. It could be said that this feature is its woe and blessing, tragedy and joy, pain and life, all at the same time

Many other coins are faster and much cheaper than Litecoin. Lot's of coins are technically superior to litecoin.
So I kinda feel those aren't valid points to "root" for ltc.

I think maybe by november will be the good time to buy litecoin. It has already risen sharply since the beginning of the year and I would not be surprised that Litecoin reaches 30$ and maybe 50$ by the end of the year.

Even if I myself can name one coin which is certainly cheaper (in terms of transaction costs) than Litecoin (I refer to Dogecoin here), I'm still not sure if it is technically superior to Litecoin, and I really doubt that it is way faster. Further, Litecoin should be considered as an instantly fast coin since it has Lightning Network activated, and when (which is a big if anyway) the confirmation times become an issue in the future, this feature will be used in full. So I don't really know what you might mean by being superior if we consider the time it takes to confirm a transaction but this is one of the most important things (if not outright the most important one). And last (but certainly not least), we are not talking about Litecoin versus other coins, we are talking specifically about Litecoin advantages before Bitcoin
