From the Dragonchain FAQ :

Quote
When will Dragons be distributed?

Dragons will be distributed after the public sale is completed + enough time to complete at least one internal and independent external audit.

Don't know how much time these audits, wether internal or external, might take, though.

Thank you. I don't know how I missed this even though I read the FAQ.

"Dragonchain, Inc. is the commercial company "
So it is not a P2P project ?

Okay, at the end of crowdsale the sponsers will be measured at the date of sponsering and that day value on bittrex. So its the purchase date.

I relaise now by earlier explenation from Dragen, that my above conclusion is not total correct. ETH will be valued on purchage day vs BTC, and tokens distribution is based on funded BTC amount end crowdsale.

Btw. about auditing is also for me a question mark. Dragon is clear in there concept. I think the complexity is not in auditing the token distribution, but by potential cleints assignments. Who like to operate on the Dragen blockchain or other mixed products. But these auditing issues can be already be done right now. The auditing timeframe depends largly if Dragon has already taken auditing meassurements. Then only the token distribution must be audited. If they do al auditing issues at the end of crowdsale, then it will take longer.

Approx how many coins will I get for 1 ether if 100 million usd is raised?

In my calculation that is;

100.000.000 / 433,494,437 = 0,23 dollar cent

Eth 250 dollar / 0,23 = 1087 tokens

This is essentially correct, although I would just like to reiterate that any speculation on price or amount raised at this point is purely speculation. There will be a full professional audit following the completion of the crowdsale to determine the actual price of the token.

This is wrong as only 55% of tokens will be distributed during crowd sale. So only about 550 tokens.

Als a question - so the ERC20 token will not be converted to a novel dragonchain token in the future!?

Any ERC20 compatible wallet will be fine to store your DRGNs on, but please confirm with Ledger any questions about your Nano S

You are correct, sorry about that. The token sale pool if 238,421,940 DRGNs.

I'm awaiting confirmation on the answer to the token question.

There are no plans to change the token from an ERC20 token.

I join the dragon ico, but wait a little. Nice to see reviews, i have fait in your ideas and team (but later on switch off from erc20 if you want to compete with them and have your own blockchain token login).

Are there any reasons why the Devs used ERC20 token for Dragonchain platform instead of using your own unique token? just curious

Good question. I dont think dragon blockchain is not operational yet, but that could be a reason. There by ERC20 is well populair and common by startups. Personally i dont like it with all the misty GAS limits that every where sticks a little in amount.

It is an ERC20 token in order to leverage existing infrastructure (e.g. wallets, etc), and to allow easier exchange listings.

We are planning to provide a peg to ETH much like we do now to BTC - to provide security in L5 of the consensus process.
We will be running Ethereum nodes in order to accept and transfer Dragons as well.
There will be technical details to work out on how to handle node to node vs human UI interaction, but for the time being, Dragons will live on the Ethereum chain and be used from there.

We could consider a swap later, but that's not a concern right now.
