This seem to be just another ICO with an overhyped development team. Lots of people seem to be getting in here "because Walt Disney's ICO", where if you look at the matter closely it's really just an ex-Disney employee who decided to do his coin. I'll give it a pass.

This is only partially true because Dragonchain was originally developed at Disney's Seattle office between 2015 and 2016 under the name "Disney Private Blockchain Platform". So it was really a Disney project and many other ICOs do not even have this proof of reliability.

OK, that's interesting to hear, in particular the fact of dragonchain still being listed on the official Disney open source website as a "featured open source project" right at the top of https://disney.github.io/.

Damn I was hoping this would fly under the radar and end up with under $5m market cap.  It looked to be heading in that direction when I threw in a couple weeks ago.  At $13m though I'm thinking it will be cheaper on ED.  Hope I'm wrong...

13-14 Mill is a negligible figure next to what the market cap could be.

Anything under that ico sale line will be gobbled up straight out the gate, not a second thought or single $#!+ given.

I wonder how this operation will take place in practice.

If an IT company wants blockchain from Dragon, they will estimate profession man hours work against fiat money for thuer project. Then negotiate with Dragon how many dragons for the project. Exchange probelly dubble ico price, mostly run by Dragon its self.

Dragon has his own tokens and will recieve new ones by doing business. So eventually Dragon will set the main exchange prices and potential clients will by tokens before contacting Dragon.

I think potential clients will pump token price and Dragon keeps them rolling if other investors dont sell.

Distribution of tokens will be ~2 weeks from the end of the crowdsale, following the completion of internal and external audits.

For every 1 BTC you bought you will receive 10 Dragons.

This is incorrect. The final amount of Dragons received will be determined by the audits and based on the amount contributed vs. the total amount raised during the crowdsale.

This was an important decision. If the project is strong, it doesn't need any bounty program or megabonus for the first hour. This was the key that made me to partecipate in the ICO!

Dragons will be sent to your ETH contribution address. We will release details on how o add the custom token prior to distribution of the tokens.

We made Dragons ERC20 tokens to leverage existing infrastructure (wallets etc) and make for easier exchange listings. We may consider a swap to a token on the DragonChain blockchain in the future, but nothing is planned at this time.
