If you want to invest your capital into altcoin you should find out what coin-related information you will invest. If I am personal I will break my capital into 2 systems that is long term and short term. For the long term I still believe in bitcoin, while for the short term I choose waves, and dashcoin, but there are some new coins that have pretty good price chart like pillar.

I think it's very risky to invest in altcoins when Bitcoin is in a bull run.
If you find a better investment, and really have confiction that this will also go up, try investing small amounts. Bitcoin is still the best, IMO.

Here no one can tell you exactly better coin to invest because the main thing is of this factor is everyone is doing hard work in another another network and community friends and having different different opinion about different different coins .
Here i myself have thinking that BCH coin is better to invest if you can buy at 0.07+btc/bch and can easily sell at 0.11btc because i am seeing at the price of this coin which is fluctuating much around 0.065 to 0.11btc .
And second coin to buy is Digibyte coin at price 290satoshi because usually the price of this coin get fluctuate from 300 to 350 Satoshi ( current rate is 295 Satoshi ) .
Third coin is sia coin at price of 150 Satoshi or even at low you can get  , the reason of the increase in the price will be launching of the wallet .

%90 of altcoins don't worth to invest but almost all of them have pumped at least one time so it's based on your risk perception. Tell us more about yourself then we can find a coin suitable for you. Everyone have different opinions, expectations, money and time-frame.

i think you need to determine in how much price for each coins you want to invest, is it under $1 or under $10 so you can make a list and you can research to find the info. without doing this, you can not have a good coins because you will only choose random coins without having a range of price. i always split what coins is under $1, $10, but for the coins which have more than $30, i won't invest because its too expensive for me. i'd rather to invest in low price so i can determine the coins.

If you are eyeing some long term investment, go for XVG, Status, Waves, Ripple, DGB, XEM. But if you are targeting a rather short term goal then join the ride with the coins topping the market right now such as ADX, Monaco, OMG, and some more.

Depends on your timeframe for holding the alt coins, ETH is great long term and definitely worth investing in, but if your wanting cheap and cheerful XRP, NEM with great community behind them, and different from Bitcoin with it's own unique characteristics that are very useful

I went with bitcoin for a while which I still do, reason for my choice in ripple and bytecoin

Ripple (xrp) great function and alot of banks are looking at it and future looks very positive
Bytecoin because it was the first alt coin, has been overlooked for a while but now admins are adding alot of value to progress and has stuck with being decentralised like bitcoin and has a long history like bitcoin. They are gain traction with exchanges so more people get the chance to buy

I don't suggests for xrp. You can chose other coin that give you good profit. What you want long time or short time invest. You can like ETH , waves, next.

Alternative coins or altcoins worth the invest are in those who are success of the projects and many investors are contributing in their ico bounty. I think bitcoin or ethereum is worth the invest cause they have high transaction rates and also the most used coins in a period of time but it depends to you what you see the most are worth investing for.

But note that you need to be careful about which ICO you are investing in. You might make a huge profit. But it's possible that you get scammed.

For me. ADX and NEO are two great choices at the moment as they are both partners and they have a lot of development paths for the future. I think this will make the price of these two altcoin increase very high next month

Not all coins have a bright future, you have to see developments and markets. You must have a plan and assess what coins you invest. If you do not have a plan and just invest in my opinion it is duping.
