We are still computing the amounts and percentages.
Coins needed for Masternodes have not yet been determined.
Could range from 200-500 coins, topping out at 1k is a slight possibility.
Servicenodes are service dependent and some could be much less.

MikeMike

I am probably going against my interests in running a masternode, but if I were you, I'd go for 1000 coins. That still makes it possible to have a couple hundred masternodes, but you don't have to deal with guys on the cheap who run them from home on their DSL line.

Masternodes should not just be a cornucopia for rent-seekers, but be operated by guys who take the job serious, secure their servers and have somewhat beefy VPS's. Unsecured TOR nodes aren't a good thing.

That said, I am not sure if I could cough up the $5K or what a 1000-coin mn would cost in Dec, so I'd just run a servicenode for a smaller slice of the pie.

I agree with this. 1k seems a little high but it is a nice idea to stop poor quality masternodes

I know our community is security minded. That being said, if you're on Android like most around here, make sure not to use patterns for security.

Wow that's interesting.

I know that people object to fingerprint or face recognition security for privacy reasons.

Where to folks find the sweet spot for security and privacy?

"The complaint said Dimon's statement negatively impacted "the cryptocurrency's price and reputation".
It also said Dimon "knew, or ought to have known, that the information he disseminated was false and misleading"."

Dont forget that after his famous speech about the big bad bitcoin, his company started buying bitcoin's a day after. This was a plan to bring the price down by spreading fear.

So lesson is, next time if any of these bankers make a stupid comment that brings the prices down on altcoins, you BUY BUY and BUY even more.

I couldn't agree more, the banksters certainly aren't our friends. Good idea to do the opposite of what they say publicly.

EXACTLY! I always try to buy whenever any "bad news" about bitcoin comes out or whenever there is a fight about how bitcoin should be handled blockchain/update wise. Because I know bitcoin is strong enough to always rebound and anything "bad" that happens to it will just fuel it to grow even greater!

i did a little arm chair research...based on other privacy coins with less capability than KORE (when wallet comes out), KORE is major undervalued...

...bear in mind that KORE has a 2M supply when compared to marketcap

One will be deployed outside our booth at the Bitcoin Etherium Super Conference

Cheers!

No offense...
But KORE is worth more than 3x today.
Sure I'm biased but look at the sheer amount of tech
attached to KORE. It could easily spin off 2 or 3 ICOs.

Good news!
The KORE Masternodes will not be 1,000 each and more like 350-600 each.
Still more numbers crunching to do but at least we narrowed it down.
To make it 1,000 would put KORE into the realm of a "Gimmick Coin"
short term,... and we dont want to increase the amount of coins at a drastic rate
because that too is unsustainable.
We want KORE to be around forever if at all possible.

Good job on the website update!

I cant wait till we can unleash Huck on his full website
capabilities!
Its gotta be tough him being limited to this transitional stage.
