Can't wait for the alpha release of the platform. It will help the project a lot, because it will show what the true potential this project has. As already said there is massive money in the intermodal industry and they really need solutions for their logistic problems. If done right (and I beleive in the team) it could be a revolution in that field.

Those of YOU who are against US,.. I say, Join us!
For you are fighting against you, and your loved ones own best interests.

KORE - WHAT IS KORE?:

KORE Platforms are focused acutely on Privacy and Security,
directed at regaining these critical Inalienable Human Rights.
Privacy and Information Security is among of the most important
arenas this decade where we must press and protect our freedoms.
KORE Realizes these Freedoms perfectly align
with the Freedom Loving Culture of Surfers.
Free,... out there on the Ocean Waves.
We will be Surfing the Internet freely once more
"Hanging Ten Digits" also on communications platforms
for the whole Family, Businesses and E-Commerce.
"KORE, Privacy for Life”

KORE - MISSION STATEMENT:

KORE, and all its supporting projects, promotes transactional anonymity
for financial transactions as well as phone calls, web surfing,
a cross platform operating system, KOREPhone and even web purchases
through a proprietary marketplace via the custom-built wallet.
Our goal is while remaining undeterred is to provide
an entire ecosystem that facilitates privacy and security.
It is our mission to not only achieve our ecosystem goal, but to also ensure
that our products will provide an avenue for members of the KORE
community itself to harness the potential it offers for their own success.
The Development team, who are avid Bitcoin fans themselves,
naturally have dedicated interest in the success and propagation of KORE
and all facets of the KORE projects. Anyone setting up a Masternode
will be rewarded and will be tasked with their own pursuit
of excellence in the upkeep of the Masternodes under their supervision.

KORE - TOR WALLET and TOR MASTERNODES:

Kore and Projects enables you to gain back your Privacy and Security to your communications, Internet use, purchases, financial transactions
and is creating an Operating System and Phone to accompany and add to privacy and security to the critical personal level of
your hardware and software. Bringing Good Things for Peoples and the Planet.
Kore is the World's First to integrate Tor into the wallet itself. PoW and PoS permitting staking and transactions to be run
through the TOR Network. They are encrypted and your IP will not be shown nor will people know you are mining KORE
or sending transactions from your IP address providing you true anonymity.
KORE is NOT an ICO.
Servicenodes: Some are service dependent requiring less coins to activate.

This is an example of an IP Address that designates your computers Internet traffic originates from your computer.
154.16.7.50:51472
Your IP and every website you visit, wallet you use, Masternode you run gets stored in the NSA MetaData
and in some countries is sold to whomever is willing to pay for it:

This is an example of what your KORE wallet or KORE Masternode connection looks like:

The KORE Team's visions, desires and Ideology is to contribute to the world in it's current needs and upcoming challenges.
Here are a few projects in the works.

ECOSYSTEM ROADMAP:

We will release the OSX and Android wallets in the coming weeks.

KORESurf, an Integrated Tor browser a World First:
KORE is also first in the world to have an in wallet integrated Tor browser.
This means you will not have to download and install Tor. everything is integrated into the wallet.
Besides for everyday Family use, this feature will be beneficial to Journalists, Whistle-blowers, Activists, etc.
We plan to have the KORESurf Tor Browser released by tba.

KORE - CTO, MXRider and Silvana Lima attend 1st Brazilian Bitcoin conference:
All will speak multiple times at the KORE Booth.
Silvana Lima will be signing autographs. A Bitcoin ATM will be at the Booth.
https://eventos.startse.com.br/bitcoin/
https://news.bitcoin.com/brazils-largest-brokerage-creates-xp-bitcoin/

KORE - VoIPA:
"A Secure Private SKYPE" is the best way to understand KORE VoIPA.
We plan to release KORE VoIPA by tba.

KORE CTO to Speak at the "Bitcoin Etherium Super Conference":
"Huck" the CTO for KORE Projects will be speaking multiple days.tba.
https://www.bitcoinsuperconference.com

KOREbay:
A True Ebay style Marketplace written from scratch bringing you what is missing in crypto marketplaces.
Can be accessed through the integrated KORESurf Tor browser. The Coding has begun.
We plan to have the KOREBay Marketplace released by tba.

KOREMesh:
An experimental MESH Network to further decentralize our communications.
We plan to release the first test version by tba.

KORE Merchants:
Now that KORE has an updated BTC core 12x wallet with included QR code
we will be moving forward in getting KORE listed with online Merchants and a few early
brick and mortar stores. Once the Android version of the wallet is released
we will engage with brick and mortar businesses fully.
We invite the Community to PM MikeMike with any stores/businesses they want KORE used at.

KORE - ATMs - 3:
KORE ATMs will also have BTC and some LTC and ETH.
The ATMs will be distributed to various locations in the world.
KORE presently has 2 Lamassu ATMs on order.
One will be deployed outside our booth at the Bitcoin Etherium Super Conference
in February 2018 and be the only ATM there.
KORE presently has ordered 1 ATM with another company, has been shipped and in transit.
We now have 3 and plan to grow the number of KORE ATMs in 2018.

There are many KORE Projects, Services and Software not listed here.
Continued below are just a few projects the Kore Team is working on:

____________________________________________________________________________

http://i68.tinypic.com/2ly53k5.jpg

We encourage you to first support the new KORE Network
by immediately Swapping to the new KORE Wallet and stake your coins.

KORE - TOR MASTERNODES:
Pure Tor Masternodes a World First:

We encourage you to first support the new KORE Network
by immediately Swapping to the new KORE Wallet and stake your coins.
Masternodes will require 500 coins to activate.

Tor Service nodes  are currently in testing and will provide services to users.
Tor was chosen to increase privacy of users as it obscures your IP enabling use of services without fear for privacy.

Obfuscating your coins from being tracked by a unique mixing feature by traditional Masternodes:
Masternodes use this function to automatically break up private transactions into indistinguishable
multiple identical transactions, this adds complexity to the original transaction and obfuscates
the proof of any particular amount and hides the IP of those who mix the coins with you through their Masternodes.

Please watch ALL the included videos in this Operations Page. They are invaluable aids to educating yourself
on the importance of having Privacy/Security and why we do what we do in the KORE Projects.

KORE -  SERVICENODES:
Service nodes will provide services to users.
Where applicable we will run Tor to increase privacy of users as it obscures your IP enabling use of services without fear for privacy.

One of the first Services KORE will be providing is an experimental MESH Network.
In time other services may be added

____________________________________________________________________________

KORE - MESH:

This Experimental MESH Network will be ramped up over time in order to prepare for and facilitate a feature in the KOREPhone etc.
More information will be provided at the right time and a separate road map for MESH will be presented in the coming weeks.
We have run some tests and are confident we could over time establish functional Networks.
Anyone having knowledge and experience in MESH technologies that would like to contribute, please PM MikeMike.

AN OS ALTERNATIVE to, "DUCT TAPE and BAILING WIRE"

The Æther Kripton OS is a uniquely secure operating system with no back doors nor Malware and most importantly it's New.
This means it's highly efficient and easy to use without the "Duct Tape and Bailing Wire" approach that's needed due to current
plugging of holes from: monitoring your activity, inclusion of Malware and back doors. Originally designed specifically
for the KorePhone, the Æther OS will eventually be Cross Platform meaning whatever apps are written for it can be
easily transported to your Pad, Desktop, Laptop, Future Watch or most any device. Your entire Æther OS can be migrated
wherever you need to use it.  Æther OS will come with a fully featured SDK to allow developers to build applications
and processes useful for the community. It's our goal to eventually fully open source all of the code.
It will be released incrementally over time.

HOW DID SMART PHONES EVER BECOME DUMB and CLUMSY?

The KorePhone is a Smart Phone designed to Debut the Æther OS and the only way to provide true privacy and security.
Our goal is to bring you a first class UI that's quick and easy to use without the annoying bloat our smart phones have been plagued with.
It will also offer some unique features.

____________________________________________________________________________

FREEDOM of COMMUNICATIONS:

In a future release we will provide you with a text message and VoIP.
To eventually a include Video communications service that you can make secure Video calls between any KORE Wallet.
Then eventually a Gateway Service to call standard phone numbers.

____________________________________________________________________________

"A BETTER WAY"

We have a few ideas that will turn PoS coins on their head and hope we can make this happen.

Announcing Swap from KoreCoin to Kore 1:1, New Wallet Release and Rebranding:

On the 14th of October 2017 we will be perform a blockchain transfer from the old Korecoin blockchain and start a new one,
along with a rebranding and a new development team leading us in a new and exciting direction.
Your existing Kore coins will be mapped 1:1 on the new chain and the transition will be smooth and painless.
Note: Bittrex will be closing our KORE wallet and stop trading the token to take accurate snapshots of balances.
If any KORE deposits you had sent to Bittrex are not settled (e.g. marked as pending)
by 6:00 PM PT, on 10/13/2017 (1:00 AM on 10/14/2017 UTC), you may not be credited with KORE.
https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001898671-Support-for-the-KoreCoin-KORE-blockchain-upgrade

KoreCoin Was initially introduced in June 2014 , with the following specifications :-

* Algorithm: X13
* PoW Coins: 1.2 Million
* PoW Block Reward: 450 KORE
* Block 3200 – 4000 = 1000 KORE
* PoW Timefram: 4000 Blocks
* Block Time: 60 Seconds
* PoS Minimum Age: 1 hours
* PoS Max age: 8 Hours
* PoS Interest: 10%
* Total Coins: 12 Million

KORECoin was a coin taken over, the Dev integrated Tor as well as SIP/PBX for in wallet VoIP calling to eventually include Video.
It is a coin central to privacy. The old Dev left the project. MikeMike took KORECoin over, built the KORE Team, renewed that Team,
integrated his ideas and main funder of the KORE Team Projects.

Current coin supply is roughly 2 M coins, these will be moved to the new chain and will be accessible to their owners
within the very first block, more on this below.

Reasoning for the Swap

1) The current code base it very old , so much so that attempting to update it would probably cause more problems than it fixes.
2) We wish to take advantage of new innovations introduced into the crypto space over the past 3 years
3) As we have a new dev team and the chain has had many developers, it is ideal to introduce a new chain providing a clean slate
for the development team to work with. The updated software and new chain would are key steps in the new direction Kore is taking.
4) Introduction of key features such as CLTV and CSV , as well as adequate scaling plans
5)  at the bottom of this page.

The New Kore Specifications :-

* Algorithm: Momentum Bitcoin Core v0.12.2.0-gec0afbd
* PoS Algorithm  PoSv3  *Modified for Security and Functionality, See “Understanding KORE PoS”
* PoW Coins: <5000
* PoW Block Reward: 5 KORE
* Block 1000-infinity = 0 KORE
* Block Time: 60 Seconds
* PoS Minimum Age: 4 hours
* PoS Interest: 15% - 30% *To be determined
* Total Coins: 12 Million
 First Coin with Full ANON, Embedded TOR and Active PoS

The first wallet release is going to introduce Masternodes to the Kore community.
It will be made available in both Linux and Windows.
* Mac will be made available in 7-10 business days from the Swap.
The first release will also include the Bittrex trading window for KORE and eventually most all pairs, the Block Explorer,
KORE to USD conversion in send, Mining CPU Core selector slider, Opacity, BTC/USD and KORE/USD tickers.
The Tor Web Browser, SIP/PBX VoIP will be released in subsequent versions in fairly short order.
To entice developers, other skilled professionals and try to offset costs a maintenance fund has been created
that is allocated 10% *To be determined.
Here is a link to a video showing proof of development:
https://youtu.be/wpn_OAnzoBg

* Masternode Cost : 400-600 Kore *To be determined
* Masternode subsidy : 40% *To be determined

Pure Tor Masternodes/Servicenodes a World First:
Tor Masternodes are currently in testing and will provide services to users.
Tor was chosen to increase privacy of users as it obscures your IP enabling use of services without fear for privacy.

Obfuscating your coins from being tracked by a unique mixing feature by traditional Masternodes:
Masternodes use this function to automatically break up private transactions into indistinguishable multiple identical transactions,
this adds complexity to the original transaction and obfuscates the proof of any particular amount and hides the IP
of those who mix the coins with you through their Masternodes.

The KORE Roadmap:
Will be posted at the time of release of the new wallet on October 14th 2017.

Understanding KORE PoS:

Kore uses customized proof of stake. Using percentages rather than a static amount it ensures all users are treated fairly
for their contribution to the overall health of the network.

* X % stake per transaction  X*To be determined
* 100 blocks to confirm
* 8 hour maturity
* 50 Kore minimum stake

Minimum Stake amount Percentages are used as they better reflect and reward users accordingly, this prevents other users from gaming
and devaluing the currency by simply creating dozens of small transactions and creating hyper inflation. The 100 block wait time
ensures adequate confirms pass before coins are mature to ensure a higher degree of certainty. An additional 8 hour wait period is added
as a means of controlling stake rates and supply growth. A minimum stake amount is imposed as part of the measures to prevent micro-staking,
micro stakes quickly bloat blockchains eventually causing problems when chains have millions of blocks but are less than a GB in size.
X% of this is allocated to MN owners as a subsidy for their vital job of assisting in obscuring transactions and facilitating Instant transactions.
With time the role of Masternodes will expand as part of the development roadmap includes assigning them additional duties on the chain.

This post will be updated with any changes.
Thank you for your interest and patience during these exciting times.

MikeMike

People say there are no reasons for the alt coins/projects to exist. Be careful of these people...
The legit projects are innovators of these technologies and will be vehicles of change in many varied areas.
I do agree that the scam coins, scam ICOs and scam projects should not be around.
These scams are hurting people and wasting peoples time and efforts.
Many a decent people left crypto due to these scams and these scams have stopped many from getting involved in crypto.

I am sure Kore is not a scam project, actually it is a beautiful project, with honest and decent people working on it...
However how people could avoid being hurt by scam coins ?

The scam projects have went through a series of transformations.
However I have seen some decent projects come from some of them taken over by the Community.
There were some that were decent projects that were taken over or destroyed by infiltrating them,
attacking them through hacking, threats and even attacked in a physical manner.
Some of these attacks came from the scammers funding those scams.
With each new wave of scam coins they mostly used the same mold for them
till the next version/mold was developed to the point of the ICOs whereby
they doxed themselves and still stole peoples money.
All I can say is that the Crypto space may end up like the .com space
and over time the cream/decent projects will rise to the top and some the hard way.
This is because those who scammed people out of hundreds of millions and could be Billions by now
have the ability to pump the price of whatever coins they want and hold them there
till they cash out enough to make a killing while some of them may be also attacking these real projects because they
also want to be the owners of the businesses that come from the tech attached to real projects.
So the tech/businesses of projects coming down the road could be real but those attached to them are mafia-like and insidious.
Also these days the banksters and hedge funds are involved and they too are a ruthless bunch with agendas.

What is up?

Hey guys, have you seen this?

I was talking with colleagues about the bitcoin vulnerability that was found yesterday and was quickly corrected. If anyone here runs a full node up from 14.0 version should upgrade as soon as possible.

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/release-notes/release-notes-0.16.3.md

I never seen a bug correction taken so quickly on bitcoin as this one.

Thanks
