Just found a website that I figured I'd share with everyone.
http://www.browserminer.com
You just let it run and it will mine a small amount of BTC from your web browser.

Please let me know what you think!

Thanks

Interesting concept though I wouldn't think anyone really thinks they're going to make money from a java applet.

Interesting concept though I wouldn't think anyone really thinks they're going to make money from a java applet.

I think (given enough people run that thing) the person that makes money is the one that hosts the site. He takes a fee of 19%.

Also I'm not one to trust easily in java script on a site that I just heard of.

If you think you must test better test it on a machine that is not hosting your wallet. Yeah I know that sounds paranoid.

Anyways thanks for sharing. The concept is indeed interesting, for using on your own sites if you have a lot of visitors.

Firstly, welcome too the site Smiley Feel free to ask me anything you want. Check out my site in my signature if you are new too bitcoin Smiley

Hmmmmm http://www.browserminer.com/ is a direct copy of http://www.bitcoinplus.com/

Bitcoin Plus has a "scammy" reputation due too the very low payout, you would need to receive many payouts to even be able to afford the withdrawal fees. Just be wise buddy Smiley

That's brilliant truth. Don't use Java in browser. Never. Read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drive-by_download - It's used so much in Java and websites.
