There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Fair call but I just found out I'll be staying on for a couple more weeks (I'm away with work). I was supposed to be done tomorrow. Bad timing all round but I only thought to ask after I'd posted here, I should have checked with the boss first If necessary I can probably work something out, somehow, but I only have my phone and only then when I'm on wifi. I can access my box from here but it'd be a massive pain in the arse and I don't want to screw up while I'm away. If cancelling isn't an option that's for enough, this isn't your fault. So how is your stepmother doing?

Posting for overc (newbie... can't post in the thread) 293@1.91Quite a large bid for a newbie... In my opinion, the initial auction description should disclaim that it will allow pm bids. Unrepresented bids are shady.

*Shrug*. The guy has an account, tried to get into the thread, and can't post. I don't understand what's shady about it? If he doesn't pay, we exclude his bid. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=210662.0
