Of course dude we regret that you lost your 10 K coins...
Remember olivier is alone on the project and he is creating our own exchange from 3 months ago till now.
He will of course fix issues which are on the Github ...
You know what they call situations as I describe above? Scams
So just because the wallet misses a fucntion in it and because we didnt "cry" about your mistake we are a scam??? Seriously ... We felt sorry for you and we tried help you...
Here is my official take on this. We have a bunch of stoners (have you seen their pictures?
) trying to get rich.
>>> pathetic !
Who else wants to invest in a coin that will be dead in a year?
See you in one year
I'm sure I'll now be banned from their social media
We didnt ban you !
In conclusion, I hope you ll find your lost password, bye
You don't understand the point of my post do you? A developer should never ever respond in the way he did. It's simply unprofessional. If that is how he behaves with such a simple thing... When all I was doing was asking for him to implement something that would improve his product and possibly save others from my same fate...
And I get "woef"...
How can you substantiate that? What could you ever say that would make that OK? That kind of response speaks DIRECTLY to the character of the dev.
Trust me, he is a good guy !
Forget this, and put all your effort on your wallet recovering !
The price has already doubled in one day!
How i would try to recover my "fat fingered" password:
(try again upper case.. first letter upper case... are you sure you you didnt invent a new password?... added an extra letter?...)
Now
_First,I will try all combinations like this : for each letter of my pasword , I will try the 6 letters which are the neighboors of the normal letters on my keyboard, cause normaly a fat finger press a letter next to the normal letter. For exemple, for the letter "f" I will try the letters "d","c","v","g","t","r".
And i dont think you fat fingered more than one letter (except if you were drunk)
So it will be long, but doable !!
For a password like "hey" (I m on a azerty keyboard), i ll test all these passwords:
gey bey ney jey uey yey
hzy hsy hdy hry h'y h"y
het heg heh heu heè he-
the number of possibilities = number of letters X 6
_Second, A fat finger can stay too long on a key so i ll try combinaison with the letters of my passwrod X2 or X3 ....
with "hey" as exemple:
hhey heey heyy
hhhey heeey heyyy ...
I hope i explained it good enough
Even if you dont succeed, keep your wallet. Maybe one day you ll remember something which will reveal you the password you used.
And remember, the user "Matt" on telegram proposed you to try bruteforce your wallet.
Good luck
