I did not really get that idea - so are you trying to make your own decentralized messaging system or use the current email system? As you mentioned you do not have to use things like "xxxx@@xxx" anymore - what does that mean for the user - am I still able to send and receive emails from regular email users?"
in a word both. for the short therm.
If we were to build closed system working only by our rules the things would be rather easy.
So we designed Proemtheus to be perfectly compatible with the current email system; send and receive email. No visible difference for the user.
But each account will be distributed to the user, not under control of a central entity.
The features like not using abc@xyz will come later in our development, as we mentioned. Of course this features will be available for our users.
Though this is not correct since they will not be "our users" but rather independent users, just using our software.
So in short this will be like a smarter email system compatible with current email.
And in the future based on its features we are confident will prevail.
