Thanks xpctxmin, also, to update your CROATCore installation please follow the steps below:

-Check block height from CROATCore System Log

If it's different from the explorer height, above (923XXX ), you need to update your CROATCore:

- Download the update file according your operating system (Windows, Ubuntu or MacOSX) from:
https://github.com/CroatApps/Croat/releases
- Extract the files and copy them to CroatCore folder replacing the original ones
- Download the last backup of the blockchain from http://blockchain.croat.community/
- Extract blockchain to the corresponding folder according your opertaing system.
- Delete p2pstate.bin file from blockchain folder.

Once this is done, you will have the CROATCore updated, and you will now be able to open your CROAT wallets.

if You compare blockchain explorer with known pools, it is clear, that CROAT is currently heavily mined on some unknown pool(s), which are not listed at http://pools.croat.community/  and https://miningpoolstats.stream/croatcoin

For long time we had about 20MH/s hashrate, now is much higher, so there is absolutely no reason to sell Your Croats so cheap, for 28 satoshi

This is the right time to buy, but to calculate with price drop is according to my opinion too risky.

update 8th of May 2019: The hashrate of Croat network is currently between 50-70 MH/s. The 2 new merged mining pools with ETN and Karbo are https://cnpool.cc/croat/ and https://coinpoolit.webhop.me/croat          The others merged mining CROAT pools are unknown

Hello all,

the situation on the original CryptoNight algo has been dramatically changed since Electroneum (ETN), which has been significant CN player decided to kick out all loyal miners on the fly. This caused big price pressure of CN algo hashrate at the Market. It seem that we have 3 big players here: Dero, QwertyCoin and Bytecoin, while Croat is currently probably at the 4th place with hashrate about 70 MH.

From the CROAT/BTC Market Size it looks that Croat is heavily dumped by single player, who is still dumping Croat with 701 amount for single trade. The price is currently 8 Satoshi. It is hard to fight against this dumper, probably the best choice is to buy. According to my opinion, it is a big oportunity, but nobody knows when we will reach the bottom. The previous bottom was 7 satoshi during the May 2019.

Hi, remember that STEX use paymentid, if you send to stex without paymentid you need to contact to the exchange to recover your CROATs.

Also I invite you to use (DESKTOP WALLET) from Croat.community https://croat.community/en/official-croat-community-wallets/, you can use it to send your CROATs to Stex (wallet.paymentid). CROATCore doesn't support paymentid.

but there are some new points since 1.1.2020:
- exchange STEX, where Croat is mostly traded require KYC since 1.January 2020
- nicehash removed original CryptoNight Algo from from the Hashing power market
+ since 1. January 2020 network difficulty is constantly rising
- yesterday 17.2.2020 we touched again 4 satoshi price. According to my personal opinion it is the great oportunity to buy such a cheap Croats.
- 99% of hashpower is still unknown, I personaly assume that others admins are still mining Croat as auxiliary chain beside QWC (merged mining). Sometimes they mine Bytecoin, sometimes Croat. In the past cnpool.cc produced most of the Croats and they dumped these Croats at stex.com. If You have suspicious blocks, then You need to compare "Nonce". If it is the same, then You have a proof. It is very easy. Nonce is currently visible at Jacob's explorer ONLY()   http://m2pool.eu/explorer/croat.html

From the CROAT.community we have news about CROAT!

We have been working hard for a while to prepare an update of the currency code and apply some new features and improvements! Since its release, CROAT has never had such an important update! Lately the CROAT network has had a lot of unknown mining power.

This is mainly due to the "merged mining" of some pools. In these pools, CROAT is used as child currency, where the mining power dedicated to other more important currencies is also used to mine CROAT as secondary currency.

In order to prevent CROAT from being used as a child currency, we have made an update of the demon node!

A "soft fork" has been established from block 1450000, which will introduce the version 4 (v4) blocks.

This is a MANDATORY update for all node and pool owners.

In addition, along with this important change, a new version numbering has been initiated (2.0.x). This leads to a version check when synchronizing the block chain with other daemons. Daemons that are in an older version will stop synchronizing.

Along with the version of this new daemon node, the Desktop Wallet has also been updated to version v2.0.1, which uses the same "cryptonote" base.
