I am so optimist in believe that there are a lot of coins that are gonna reach $100 each. As long as more people uses cryptos, then there is gonna be a higher volume.
I really think that Waves is gonna reach $100 in a few years. Lisk too, they made a 50% in less than two days.
Neo was $6 a month ago, and now it is at $40 each.
Altcoin market is so unpredictable, but it is raising a lot.

I have a theory that if someone put a couple of thousand dollars behind a Staking Wallet public relations/marketing campaign and the average public learned how easy it was to make money this way, there would be a huge mass adoption.

So, I'm looking for some very long term investment here, I see that there are a LOT of coins whose price is between $1-10, from all those coins, which do you guys think have the best chance to hit $100 I would say in about 1,5-2 years?

Right now, Im seeing only WAVES will hit $100 someday but it needs time.

But I don't mind that my current coins on portfolio will not hit $100 each someday as long as their volume have steadily been moving up and downs. Reaching $100 is a big bonus for me but today I can earned good decent profit out of their volatility with their current price.

maybe a nice choice could be waves. because they have a platform "like" ethereum, good team, good dev, so they are working fine.
during these days price are back to old may 2017 values. I think is not bad trying an investment with this altcoin.
obviously this is just an interpretation of the market, if you choice to follow this, please trade an amount that you can afford to lose.

NEO because they are developing projects on it's platform, I am going to agree on Waves, I do hold Ark - interesting idea but curious how and when it will be implemented, Shift I do not know much about but I acquired some, The only question I have is what about Substratum and Presearch for competition, they too want to build a decentralized internet and if they raise more money than Shift, that will be tough for Shift to catch up. We clearly know that Monero is going to go to the Moon soon given it has hit 1 Billion, hard for me to really say for sure what else will hit $100 because I feel they need to be limited supply. Ripple I just can't see it happening, Steem is going to be a massive massive Social Media platform but again, I do not see $100 at least for another few years. I could be wrong though. You need to look at the market cap, supply and what problem it solves to determine these things.

Onions are currently $1 and could hit $100 anywhere between 3 and 5 years on past trends, or even sooner with exponential trends and cryptos gaining more traction. It depends a lot on whether or not the roadmap will be cleared though.

SONM is in a similar boat. Currently very undervalued with potential jumps from currently 7 cents to 30~120+ cents by the end of the year and much much higher in the long term if the project gains traction.

Blocklancer also has extremely high potential for rising drastically based on its niche platform.

And then there's AiCoin, which will outperform Bitcoin while providing more stability at the same time in the short term, with a reasonable potential of blowing up in the long term, albeit not as much as disruptive projects such as SONM and Blocklancer. AiCoin is basically a crypto hedge fund with better gains.

marketcap more than 1 Billion is difficult.

1. Monaco could go but I see there are some whales break price higher. I am not sure.
2. OMG 800 million if it go to 100$, you need marketcap about 10x that mean it is marketcap 8 B+. still difficult
3. Lisk 400 million if it go to 100$, you need marketcap about 25x that mean it is marketcap 10 B+. still difficult
