How many coins will be needed for a MN?
1000 ALTCOMs for one masternode, which will be activated in the near future. That means you have to invest around $2500-3000 for one masternode at its current low price. But the project is good, active developed, lots of products will be released soon, such as SonoHub. So, personally, it's worthy investment.

Why so high price? Not everybody has $3000 to invest. I was hoping for 100 ALTCOM to buy a masternode which is more reasonable. An idea is to do it like Crown. Implement cheaper nodes also for people with less Money to invest. They call it system nodes. If price rise in future nobody will afford 1000 ALTCOM. Only very rich people which is bad for decentralisation.

If MN were set low, then it would defeat the purpose of them. At that point, you would probably get rid of MNs and just use staking.

In regards to you thinking it's expensive, You do not have to purchase the full 1000 coins. We still have a little time, so you can buy some and just let it stake up to 1000.

Always doubt.

Just sold today. I was hoping for ALTCOM, but with the current rise of BTC, it makes more sense to sell for BTC, sell those when BTC reaches $13K and buy back the much cheaper ALTCOM.

In January or February, the price will probably rise, but like other altcoins, ALTCOM gets only cheaper.

Hope that you can buy cheaper ALT COM.
How are u gonna get cheaper altcom if BTC rises another 2000$ and let's say AltCom price stays around 30k sat price, not caring what the dollar price is, you would not earn exra AltCom you'll just be buying back in for the same amount of satoshi's u sold them for Smiley

How about you DYOR on Denarius (D)

When BTC rises, alt coins drop (ALTCOM fell already 15% from where I sold and is no longer around 30K sat). So, move your money to BTC, wait for the rise to top out (probably around $12K or $13K) and sell those BTC for fiat. IMO, BTC will fall back to around $8000. Then buy back into BTC and with those, buy back ALTCOM.

A lot of people don't directly buy back into alts when BTC falls sharply, they get scared and usually sell for fiat or HODL. Only once BTC stays roughly around the same range, people are comfortable buying into alts. So, if I am right and BTC shoots up a bit still and then falls sharply, ALTCOM will not rise with the fall of BTC, but stay low. I expect this to go until January, so in February alts should have another chance.

Whats the best pool to mine Altcom?

https://zpools.de/
https://umine.org/
https://altcom.coin-miners.info/
http://pool.friends-master.net/

There might be more but this is the list on https://altcoincommunity.ru/

Zpools is always on discord which is handy if you need to get in touch.

Thanks! i tried zpools.de but  theres an error it says "stratum authentication failed"
Please check your internet connections, first. Then, if it is fine, it might be due to the pool's technical issues.

umine.org has been working fine last week. today its temporarily down. hope it will be back soon.

Masternodes are supposed to be something to obtain and aim for, not just make willy-nilly like everyone else. I've been here since beginning and I won't be able to set up a MN, but the feature will benefit the entire ALTCOM space, so I don't know why you would feel bad you don't get one, there are people without any ALTCOM, they should be sad.

When will this marvelous event happen?) Previous crash was more like a momentous panic than an actual correction.

If I had a crystal ball, my handle would be different Smiley

I would say in January, but of course with BTC you never know. My whole bet might be wrong and BTC goes to $30K and stays there for months (not very likely). In that case, I am still good because I sold ALTCOM for BTC...

It appears you are not the only one. Fun thing about bets, you are either right, or wrong.

Where is this token listed,  listing in a big exchange where the trade volume is very high would increase the value of the coin.

Sorry, but what is the benefit of using a staking pool with this coin?  Huh.

Holder with a little amount of altcom in their wallet could combine in PoS pool to get daily stake reward without having to wait long. (simply like the usual PoW pool mining)
