Thanks for the masternode update. How many coins do I need to run my own node?

You need exactly 1000 coins.
Thanks for your answer. Can I still buy the coins with the ALTCOM ticker or do I have to wait until there will be SONO coins tradable?

yes you can, no need to wait
1000 SONOs, then I will have one masternode. Wow, very great news of the week for me and for the SONO/ALTCOM community.

Downloaded new wallet, copied wallet.dat, it synced, balance is OK, but staking does not work. The wallet is unlocked for staking only, but it reports "Not staking". 2 active connections, block explorer shows reasonable network statistics. It also says "PoW + PoS Stage 1" - when will the transition to Stage 2 happen?
My question is, do I have to update to new version of wallet? Can I still use the old one? If I use the old one, will it lead to chain split? Thanks.

It might lead to chainsplit, I guess.

Hey guys.
If your SONO wallet is taking forever to sync.

Visit: http://sonoexplorer.com/network or https://altcom.blockstats.pw/network

Choose IPs and ports that are using SONO 1.2.0

Open your wallet > HELP > Debug Window > Console

And type this command:

addnode IP:port add

Example:

ATTENTION!!!
It has come to our attention that a bug has been found in the new wallet.

To this point we have found the following bugs:

1. Masternode Payments are now active and gives you a reward for being active.
So make a masternode if you can, you are free to do so.

2. The display of transactions that are received is currently bugged.
The wrong amount is shown, but if you inspect the transaction, you can see the right amount. There NOT any bugs in the reward system, so coins are released in a normal fashion.

Please update to our new wallet.
Me too, i got this bug too, we need a fast update on our wallets please.

One website predicts that SONO will rise up to more than $1000 this year, right now the price is so cheap, if you want to get rich don't miss this opportunity
https://coincheckup.com/coins/altcommunity-coin/predictions
It is extremely optimistic. Additionally, please give me reasons on which your prediction based.

Id say about 400 or 500 mid to late this year Smiley

How to setup a masternode? Any guide available for a Windows based setup?

I am a litte bit surprised because I thought that masternode rewards will start in 5 days first. But now you say that masternode operators are already receiving rewards?!?

And is it possible to stake and also run a masternode for double rewards?

Could you please provide me which port I have to forward/open on my server for incoming masternode requests?

BTC IS KING!

You need 1,000 coins to setup own masternode. But better ask yourself in the Discord chat group to verify. Or check their latest Twitter announcements.

I have over 1000 altcom coins in an altcom wallet, is it as simple as sending altcom coins to a sono wallet, or will there have to be some mediator to do a one off swap?

It's much simpler. There is no swap and no need to send anything, just copy 'wallet.dat' file to the data directory of the new SONO wallet. Description is on the first page, message #2.
