Anyone know when the swap will happen? Or is there no swap just name change with the same address?

Yes, it's just rebranding. No swap needed, simply copy your 'wallet.dat' to the SONO data directory (see instruction on the first page). The address remains the same. Everything works normally now, including staking.

I have big problems with new Sono wallet.  Cannot sync.  I am not technical professional. Why must I do something unreal for me every time?
No problem. Everything works, no problems.
Started
Synchronized
Copied wallet.dat
Everything.

In order to deal with crypto-currencies, you need to be a bit smarter.

After SONO listed on masternodes.online. you can visit the website and got summary statistics on masternode there.

Hi guys, was there any change in coins maturation? I have a lot of confirmations from previous stake and the wallet says it's staking again...

Hello,

So masternodes will become active in 3 days correct?

Since SONO/ALTCOM is not listed on sites like masternodes.online and I have no idea of how many masternodes will exist, quick math:

1 coin per block or every 60 seconds, that's 1440 coins per day.

If you have 1 MN and there are 500 MNs on the nework, you have 0.002% of the validating power.

Whitepaper says MNs receive 0.25% of the block reward.

So that's 0.25*(0.002*1440) = 0.57 SONOs/day

At current price of around 12$, that's ~6$/day, 180$/month, 2160$/year

I'm tired and my head hurts, but I think this is a fair assumption? It looks like a good project (and I like the fact that you list your team on your website unlike most other MN coins) but honestly not a great insentive for people to invest over 10k in a masternode (unless they already own enough coins) with such low returns :-/

As far as I understand, the block size will be increased to 10 SONO In the next phase.

Thank for your assumption. But I think there is something wrong or mistakes. $180 monthly is not good for investing Masternode.
Eventually thank for your dedicate working.

Hey dev, honest question here, masternode rewards seems to be extremely small. Significantly smaller than staking. I'm not sure what the motivation is to set up a masternode. Is it really just more profitable to just stake?

For now staking is better for sure. But the staking rewards will be lowered from 180% to 50%, PoW rewards raised from 1 SONO to 2 SONOs, so MN rewards are expected to become better than staking. But it all depends on the number of MNs active.

W7 64bit, haven't experienced any crashes so far, maybe it collides with other opened wallet or maybe with something different. Hope you find a solution!

No. 32-bit Windows 7 in a virtual machine, no crashes, just like the previous ALTCOM wallet. However, I have not tried to send the coins yet, only staking.

A lot of misinformation is being spread right now.

This is how SONO works currently:

We have gone from PoS 3.0 to PoS 2.0 instead.
Current Staking reward is 180% per year.
PoW reward: 1 SONO.

Rewards will change at block 240.000.
Staking 50% per year.
PoW reward: 2 SONO.

Masternode rewards of PoW starts on Saturday 27th at 18:00 GMT.

It seems that users since today have to wait for a long period of time and of course depend upon generosity of others before collecting enough merits to be upgraded to higher levels. That new system is unbelievable one.

I understand the need of removing spammers, bots and other creatures, but for me this is not a good way how to do it.

Hmm, I think it's going to be much harder to get your rank upgraded with this new merit system. You're not only have to be active yourself, but you also need others to get enough merit to upgrade.
