Just some thoughts running through my mind considering masternodes. Though i still have a very rudimental understanding of "the big picture" and underlying tech of crypto
i still want to share and hear your thoughts. Correct me if iam wrong on anything.

As i understand this has to be programmed into the blockchain. "God why didn`t i became a programmer, doing well in motiondesign the past 15 years  "
Asked my best friend, who is one about programming and blockchain... guess what... he has no clue and said we would be the first one who get hacked LOL. Awesome drummer by the way  

Back to masternodes. What i love to see here, if we ever get there...
that running a masternode is not that high priced that only the big players can run one which in my eyes leeds to some kind of centralization.
Kind of against the original blockchain concept and not healthy for a fast "secure" network. Same thing as you shouldn`t grant the big players too much of a discount.
A little is ok but I can imagine those greedy offers via email you might get all day.
They can open low positions as everybody else   If there will be a vote, i`ll vote against it.
Of course such things as masternode implementation has to be carefully calculated, discussed -and designed/implemented/programmed - by abi&team.

What i really wanted to say is:
Keep it simply, keep it fair... as you do from the beginning and all will eventually fall into place   ... guys...these nice project doesn`t come on the fly.
Team and community around ETHD is awesome and rising ... iam in for the long ride... one should not miss this train. "God i missed so many  "
Tell the "graphic guy" that the shadow on the logo, flying in on the website looks a bit harsh. Should play a little more with this shadow. Just kidding... looking good by now

Hope iam not too wrong with my "assumptions" on blockchain tech and could also entertain a little besides
ppl begging via email for absurd amounts of dicount or can only read back the last post of a thread.

I dont know about masternodes either but I do know it gives incentive for people to actually hold there coins to earn more. I think this would even make this coin more valuable

Not only more valuable but also more stable and secure. I rather have a well, thought out and active developed project and team behind it than some other shill happing somewhere else on here.

Which anonymity technology are you going to implement or have you already implemented in this coin? Did you just fork ETH and then add anonymity?

We are working on a technology that will protect both, the senders and receivers address. We may also add a feature that will be able to shield balances on the addresses also. Only those with the legitimate key would be able to reveal the contents guarded. We are also thinking about adding an option for users to decide whether or not they would like to use this feature. At this time, we are finding more solutions on making the quality of the features perfect. And to your second question, no, this is something much bigger than that, yes, anonymity is there, but that is not what everything about this coin is about.

The original post says that this is both PoS and PoW. I can't find any mining pools though. Is it possible to mine this coin with a GPU at the moment? Is it equihash algo?

Does anyone know how I would go about setting up a full node to solo mine? Either in Linux or Windows. Thanks!

It was POW up till 10,000 blocks,now we're past that,Now POW has ended,just POS.

Now that we are getting good daily volume here on Coinexchange, I have decided to send in a support ticket to see if ETHD can get more pairings for trading as some people like to trade with ETH or LTC as the transactions are a lot faster then BTC. I'm still waiting on a reply but let's hope they do add more trading pairings as this will help increase the daily volume even more.

I am seeing more people tweeting about ETHD now which is great to see but we need a lot more as the word will spread a lot faster. Let people know about the upcoming airdrop and post a link to this thread so they can stay updated on the coin and not miss the 2nd round airdrop. Also it helps get the views up to 20k quicker. I'm happy to hear that ETHD will be listed on Coinmarketcap soon and lucky I checked in here as I was going to send in a request once I saw the volume start rising for ETHD, but the dev and a community member has already done this which is good.
