If you use an encrypted wallet, you have to unlock it first using your passphrase (there is an option for staking only).
After the staking started hover over the mining icon at the bottom right.
This will show you
- if you are staking
- what your weight is
- the network weight
- and the expected time until your next reward (which can differ in reality, as this is only an estimate)

thank you figured out...i opended the wallet..i sent some ethd to this wallet address..now have quick questions

1..this wallet app does not ahve any login/passphare ? how to secure it
2. currently it says out of sync...so i need to leave it open/running ? usually how long it sync up?
3. for airdrops some one said above i need to PM ? it means i need to send an email? from my personal gmail..etc . if so what is the dev email id...sorry i may asking dump questions...
