Question from my part:
After minting it does show up in my wallet, but etherscan doesn't recognize it. Is this normal?

Actually it does show up for me on Etherscan.  But bear in mind that you won’t see your minted tokens as token transaction, you will notice it in your balance as it woul d have increased compared to your balance prior to minting..   I’m pretty sure it’s the same way on Etherscan, Ethplorer and even MEW.

Ok you can stake in myetherwallet using mint option , i just cant understand where you can use it in future . At the moment it works like that , the more money you spend the more pos you get every 3 days Rich people got richer poor more poor

Lolz. Yes the rich are getting richer. But also the poor are also getting richer bcoz the poor can also mint their small amount of pos and get more even tho it is a small amount.
It is not as if the tokens of the poor are being deducted and added to the rich tokens.
Everybody is getting a deserved and proportional chance depending on the size of your pocket. The poor should aim to be like the rich. That's the mentality you need.
I am sure POS will have use case(s) in the future. The devs are really working hard to make this a success. Slow and steady wins the race.

Exchanges will be the one to enjoy the 4th airdrop of your pos stored with them bcoz you don't control the private keys and I am sure that exchange will not credit you with your rewards...lolzz..its their gain..

I've seen postoken in etherdelta reach 0.009 ETH but now only 0.002 ETH what happens

Of course yes. POS is an utility token, so it will still get back to its ATH and even surpass it!!

after the final airdrop, when nobody can't get anymore coins except by buying them on an exchange, the price should grow. once people learn that POS token is a safe and extremely easy way of energy efficiently staking with 100% ROI for 1 year, then I think a lot of people will choose to put some savings into it. If we get on a bigger exchange and start marketing it then things can go real nicely

If you don't mint before you send your tokens out of your wallet, you will lose the staked tokens.

I was able to mint 2 pos after about three days or so. But there is some irregularity. Every time I check my balance on etheplorer, I still see my old balance instead of my new balance. But in my wallet, my new balance is accurate. Is my mnted coin not mature enough to spend or what?

Yeah..same ish here. Etherscan kinda lags, but it will still get updated with new balance after some minutes or hours.

I have tried to mint my POStoken for the first time, I had a nice coinage and the poscalculator showed that I would get several POStokens by minting - I have followed the instructions provided in this thread and I had 0.01 ETH on my account but finally I didn't see any new POStoken appear in my address, there are exactly the same number as before. Coinage however has gone to zero. What does that mean?

EDIT: After reading the previous message I saw that the same happened to me. Etherscan is lagged, tokens appeared in the wallet. Cool.

If we take into account that not everyone produces the token, then the issue of tokens goes much longer. Tokens in circulation will be less than planned.

by my calculations of the upcoming airdrop the following is true.

130k to be distributed against approx 660k POS held outside of Dev accounts.
This will mean about 1 additional POS for every 5 you hold.
