Hi All,
I'm in this coin and excited about its prospects. Would it be possible to ask a proper Noob question to the group? Pls excuse me, I am not new to Crypto, but have never mined/staked etc.
Basically I followed the guide on page 68 to set up the minting operation through My Ether Wallet. It all seemed to go through fine and I have GWEI set at 21. When I put my ETH address in the POS Token calculator is says zero reward and zero token day, even though I've had them for a few weeks. Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong? Do I have to have my laptop on for 3 days straight before it works?
Sorry if the question is obvious, but any help on what I am doing wrong gratefully received. Thanks all and good luck to all holders. Cheers.

You mixed the steps. You should have first checked PoS Coin calculator to see amount of coins you can get trough minting. After successful minting calculator shows 0 for 3 days because you are able to mint again only after 3 days. In the end it doesn't matter, you have received your due coins if you had them on your myeterwallet. The coins don't stake if they are on eterdelta for example. One more tip, always check your balance trough myeterwallet or etherdelta (visible immediately after transaction goes trough) because etherscan will show minted coins after significant delay(could be days). For start POS , is it enough to send 1 POS to yourself?
The calculator shows in my wallet:
12.20656217 POS
EXPECTED REWARD
COINAGE: 5786.227522821504 TOKEN-DAY
There are 480 POS on my wallet
Does this mean I will receive 12.20656217 POS in 3 days?

Countdown to postoken lending platform!!!
For the moment no countdown in their website. It would be nice to know the exact hour, I'm really excited about this lending program  I bought some POS and will hold them a while, it will worth a good price in few months I guess |

it's over 1.5 months now, so chances for the end of the maintenance are not so big imho. How much is it now to send coins to POS?
How many GAS installs that the transaction has been processed?
better check safe gas price here https://ethgasstation.info/ before transactions. it's very variable these days. |

How about the POS staking wallet that was promised in first stages of development? I think a POS staking wallet can help more new users without knowledge to use contract in MEW, to adopt the POSTokens.

yes, well-designed wallet with simple POS mining for POStoken and it's clones would be so nice. but dev is concetrated on lending platform now obviously. so i doubt we'll see the wallet soon. |
