The ERC20 WAN tokens have already been sent out to the Ethereum addresses of ICO participants. They will be exchangeable for Wancoins in approximately 2-3 months when the mainnet goes live.
If you can't see the tokens in your wallet, manually add a new token with these details:

Token Contract Address: 0x5Fc6DE61258e63706543bb57619b99cC0E5a5A1F
Symbol: WAN
Decimals: 18

Thanks. Waiting for my faulty nano ledger to be returned so will add contract details when it arrives. I should be able to see them on Ethplorer though shouldn't I?

Because the tokens are still locked you may not see them yet on Ethplorer. Instead, enter your receiving addresss on ethersacn https://etherscan.io/ and select the 'View Tokens' droplist. It should show up there.

They are pretty active on their telegram and are expecting the mainnet to launch in December. They are still working on it and gathering applications. The team is also looking for alpha testers with 2 years of dev/programming experience.

Wanchain was a very hot topic when it was executing ICO. It is too quiet here now.

Wanchain was a very hot topic when it was executing ICO. It is too quiet here now.

I apologize for that. Was initially quite active on here but then set up the Telgram and Discord groups and it was very time consuming. I am back on Bitcointalk and will bring updates to everyone as they come.

For now, we have accepted the first developers to test the Wanchain alpha testnet. They will be conducting several tests to identify and help combat any bugs.

Would also like to state that Wanchain is not affected by the most recent Parity bug.

Do not expect it before december. Even if they are on time, it should not be before next month. Hope the launch will be a success and that the PR team is already working with some exchange to get the token known and get listed as soon as it is live

Closed beta is currently running to my understanding, they want to have mainnet working correctly before releasing tokens correctly, as for bounty program, they are running one inside the closed beta, i am personally interested in a bounty program myself

Yep!, at the moment we have invited 90 of which 68 have joined and are actively testing the testnet.
