I don't know anyone who has done this but I think there are not many people who replaced regular full time jobs for bitcoion jobs. I also think that they are very brave because you can't count on steady monthly income with bitcoin and this is still very risky. Maybe if you don't have a family to take care of or some other obligations like loans, mortgages and similar then it could be possible.

For me, i've never met people who leave full-time employment moving into bitcoin. I think that's just a fraction of the many people who already have full-time employment on their lives. And for me personally i wouldn't leave that full-time employment, and try to divide the time on bitcoin as well. Just a dependency to Bitcoin only, i think it's lacking for me, Bitcoin income for myself is the other side of my main income.

I believe there are a lot of developers who left their jobs not to get into Bitcoin start ups or development but to start their own ICOs. Some of them might already be planning their exit scam while the money is still there. Just another day at work. Wink

I didn't really leave my job for bitcoin but my contract ended and after that I didn't look for another job,
I just found it more profitable to earn in bitcoin rather than going to some local jobs and in earning bitcoin I am the one who holds my time.

Oh Im dreaming this too. Working with your own time. No bosses and no pressure. Like you can work without brushing your teeth, working late at night not worrying if you wake up late.
But for now, I need to do my job but soon as I have enough savings I will quit and focus my life where I wanted to be.

When crypto portfolio become so valuable it's more than 20 years working in your day job, and you're making consistently way more money per month you do in one year in your day job, why are you spending so much time there for so little money?

Bitcoin full time is the future of many of us and I'm waiting my turn.

I also have few friends who left their full time job to focus in cryptocurrency trading and others here in signature campaign. For me quitting your job is not a good idea since crypto is still young but then maybe they already saved enough money to sustain their needs.

One should never leave his main job for an online job .
Your main job is your real source of income , stable dollars !
Wheras your online job has many variables , that if any one of them isn't met , you could become jobless .
Everyone with a bit of organisation and time-managment can do 2 jobs at a time .

I dont think it's possible to do that right now. What I want to see first is that it's possible to get payed in bitcoin instead of FIAT.
The problem now is that governments give tax releifs to companies that pays in FIAT, whereas if you were payed in bitcoins they could not get tax relief.

Also most people cannot pay for groceries with bitcoin, so once you got your monthly paycheck, you wouldconvert it to fiat, and then we haven't achived anything!

Actually I was working full time recently but as I started working distantly two months ago I split my working day and dedicated it to BTC ventures and trading.

Even I don't know anyone personally who left their full time job to go into bitcoin nor did I do so but yes I know a few people who had had online businesses other than bitcoins but after they came to know about bitcoin they have now shifted their attention to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies more than their previous business and they have done it in way that they charge their clients for their services either in bitcoin or have completely gone into bitcoin and started business solely based or related to bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.

Leaving a full-time job and well-established position is a pretty radical decision. I personally wouldn't take the risk and I don't know of people who did.
But if you really and truly trust in this, why not attempt it? That is, if you are prepared to face all the risks and inevitable losses from time to time.

The question is : Is this not a bit premature to leave your full-time job to focus on something that are not even properly regulated and technologically matured? Some people might argue that early adopters might gain the edge over their competition, if they enter early.

Would you risk a stable income from a full-time job, to gamble on a experiment that has not yet matured?

Props to those who had the balls to go all in on BTC like that and leave their day jobs. I'm pretty risk averse, so I could never do that personally. I've just been buying a bit here and there for years, watching the charts and trading a bit. Fortunately I have my own office at work, so my bitcoin chart addiction isn't an issue for my job (most of the time).

I considered trying to trade bitcoin and altcoins for a living a while back, but ultimately decided against it. Too much stress day-to-day. As much as I hate working a job, I just couldn't do it.

I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?

It is fact, bitcoin has volatile power. Then automatically people attract with it. But to left the employment and concentrate on bitcoin full time, then i think it is also risky.
But on the other point of view, it is also right, Because not every employ has a good job and permanently job, that's why it is better for contractual employees to left the job and give the concentration on bitcoin.

I know only few people who left their full time job or regular job to just go full time in bitcoin. They told me that there is a brighter future in bitcoin rather than to their job because their job is very stressful and it is time consuming even just going to work so if they will work on their home and just go full time in bitcoin then they can earn more money and have more time for their family bond.

No one can give answer on this question in this thread headline. There are too many factors that we need to take in consideration, each of
us have a different life and lives in different environment. No matter how many variables there are same for most of us, first of all no one
leaves good paying job for lees paid and unsafe job. Not everyone of us is ready to risk, there are a lot safe players.
Who will leave a full-time job and move just on bitcoin? People that earn very little with their current jobs, people who work in bad companies
that can shut down any moment, and people with season jobs. On other side people who have knowledge and already making a lot of money
with bitcoin can think about leaving job if with more time they can make even more money here.

BIG WINNER!

If I personally will not get rid of my full-time job, because my full-time job is my family's monthly financial expectations. Bitcoin will probably be my part-time job for the extra expense of my life. Unless I am dismissed from my job so I will focus completely on bitcoin for a while until I get a new job.

Those who can afford to do so can take the risk and jump in to the Bitcoin scene. But for me, it is extremely risky. I have a family to look after, and I need guaranteed salary every month. Considering the volatility with Bitcoin, it is a risk which I cannot afford right now.

I don't know anyone personally who has done this, but it just makes sense that there are quite a lot of people who've started working with Bitcoin professionally.
Not just Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies in general, just look at how many blockchain companies there are or companies providing services for Bitcoin...

The job market around Bitcoin is only going to expand further in the future.

Not many, but the users who have been making a good profit through bitcoin as well who has made a better profiting from the past days might be moving towards bitcoin full-time. Importantly in my view without proper plan going full-time on bitcoin us not good its better to have a diversified investment.
